Good Morning All. Snowing and 19° here. Looks to be about 3". The Weather Underground station around the corner shows 3.3" after a minor rain of 0.2" sometime after dark yesterday. Fifty miles south in Dallas, it's still above freezing and it continues to rain which it did all day yesterday. I don't know if the light rain here froze on the road before the snow or not and I don't intend to find out. I personally think that this snow will end just after dawn, but I am not a professional weather geek so I am probably right. I am more often than they are.

I'll be back in a little bit after I check out the financials from last week and some current news.

It's 05°F here this morning. No precipitation expected until around 1200 at the earliest. The atmosphere is much too dry for snow right now.

Good morning! Only woke up about three times last night and still can't get this new heater to shut off. I hear the elements cycling, but the fan continues. The Chinese translation isn't the greatest I've ever deciphered, so maybe the fan is not supposed to shut off. All of my past Laskos did, but HD was out of those so I had to settle for a brand I've never heard of. The reviews were OK so I pulled the trigger.

I'm going to experient with a bit more today while I'm conscious and see if it shuts off.

Good Morning All. Snowing and 19° here. Looks to be about 3".

We're on the bubble edge up here. Snow starting this evening, with 1 to 8 inches predicted depending on how far north the moisture band from the Gulf of Mexico stretches.

We're heading out to lunch today while it's still clear and (very cold). Then hunkering down tomorrow and going to make a cast iron skillet pizza for supper.

Sciatica is still bugging me. From past experience, I just need to be nice to the piriformis for a few days. Today, I'm on the couch mostly reclined. I thought about getting some of the Star Wars Clone Wars or Rebels animated series to watch... but I don't want to get a channel subscription, and the single seasons are more than I want to spend.

So, I'll probably spend the day reading or watching short vids on YouTube.

14F at 60% clear. Another low tomorra night, although there is cloud cover coming in now.

Looks like most of you are skipping the bad part ... good. Be ready JiC.

So clear here I saw ISS last night, then again just a few minutes ago. Sure looks to have new additions compared to the last time I saw her. It now is not just a light in the sky, more or less a wonky blob floating by.

Vacuumed the little stuff yesterday. Not used to standing that much, so I would do some, sit for a bit, do some more... Strip and Chicken today and will be done.

Woke up to blowing snow with temp 2f windchill -11f

Going to be a cold day here in Kansas not sure how much snow we’re supposed to get. They were saying 12-14” by the end of weekend but it might end up being half that. Wind keeps blowing roads will drift so that’ll be fun come Monday morning.

Y’all be safe and I’ll try to keep warm.

As kgstakes said, it's cold and snowy here in the Wichita area. I'm looking at maybe 2-3" of stuff in my neighborhood. Some slight drifting makes it hard to know for sure. I'll have to check before running the snow machine.
