Air Force mess hall was renowned for their omelets. I never had a bad breakfast at the mess hall. They call them 'dining facilities' now.

The bacon was also nice and crisp and if you were kind to the server he'd give you four pieces instead of three.
I have always heard Air Force served really decent food.

As for lunch and dinner I really didn't have any complaints. Just seemed breakfast was always terrible! Maybe its because I was and still am
not much of a breakfast eater.

Well it clouded up quickly. No blue to be seen and no direct sun. Hopefully it blues up a bit more so I can go for a walk. It's 35F now. The chance of precipitation goes down to 20% this afternoon and partly sunny or something so maybe that is a better time to go out. Though it may not get much warmer. Have to wear my fancy lightweight vest over my walking clothes. We'll see.

I'll probably eat an egg for breakfast. I've been eating an egg most days recently though I went for a long long long spell with almost never an egg. I put some fat (butter or bacon grease) in a pan, put a spoon of raw minced garlic in it to cook, put pepper and maybe powdered sriracha or "lime and chili" spice depending on what interests me, cook and flip, add some cheese, and let slow cook to let cheese. Recently I've been making 100% fresh ground whole grain (wheat/spelt mix) bread in our bread machine after a many year pause, so I'll eat the egg with toast from the bread. Otherwise I usually eat the Wasa crisp bread (multi grain) with it. Trying to limit carbs.

Right now it's hard to get going -- get motivated. Just everything that's going on, plus not feeling overly great from not sleeping well, physically.

I have a small side gig I've been involved with for 12-14 years. I've mentioned it before -- an app to help you reduce or eliminate alcohol consumption. Sponsored by and based on research from a professor. I had not done anything on it for a few years but his off shore team he'd handed it off to went bankrupt and the other one he was paying to maintain and support it were too expensive and I'm helping him. So that's good. But it takes time I feel I need for other things and I don't always get stuff done as quickly as I should for him. That's on tap this morning. I'm trying to track down a bug from a report but I cannot reproduce it. I do have some crash reports Apple has collected to use. I also have some updates I've done but we can't release (there are two versions of the app -- the general population and a veteran specific one) until I get some info from the off shore group that he's had maintaining it the last year or two after his off shore team went out of business. And these guys don't respond much.

I didn't eat a lot of other meals besides breakfast in the mess hall. I was living in base housing, but I would stop in for breakfast before reporting for a dispatch if I had time. Other meals were good too, even if it wasn't what I really liked. But like I said, I didn't eat many other meals there.

I don't eat eggs very often at all. As of today, I don't remember eating any eggs for any meal within the last two years or more. I'm not supposed to eat bacon very much, and what I do eat comes on a pizza. The firearm is usually holstered.

If I eat any breakfast at all, it's usually toast with butter and strawberry jam with coffee. I usually only eat breakfast if I'm going to be out and about in the morning before lunch.
I eat 2-3 eggs scrambled every morning. I may have a bowl of generic low sugar, high fiber (9gr per 1/2cup), cereal dry or moistened with water and/or a half cup of plain non-fat yogurt. The only time I have toast or pancakes is when we go out for a rare breakfast a couple of times a year.
