RANK AMATEURS OF THE MODEL RAILROAD FORM MEMBER
Made it to the dentist and they were able to see me today, which was nice. Form was in english, which helped. Staff understood very little, but enough. Strange thing was that the new doc started the filling process but the older one said something so he stopped. Then he told me that there are two types of filling - one covered by insurance and the other not covered by insurance. The one covered may break off and the one not covered is way stronger. I opted for the one that is stronger, which will cost me about $800 out of pocket.
I didn't have the wits about me to ask what the difference in materials is, so I did some interweb searching and ceramic is the one that is not covered. I had the resin one done before and that's what broke off.
I kinda feel like I'm getting a brake job done for a burnt out tail lamp...
