Oh and I have another added to the complete active roster. My uboat received her paint and handrails today while I was waiting on my tunnel to set up.

I do have to reinstall the couplers but she is ready to handle the yard duties.

Good Morning All. It's a little chilly here this morning, clear and 27 degrees. I guess that's warm for you folks in Minnesota or Montana. High today in the lower 40's and then back to normal 50's tomorrow; 60's by the weekend.
Eric - That's good news about the drone, but I see you didn't win the Powerball, so I guess the lucky streak is on hold. I didn't win either, but I can't win since I don't buy tickets.
Garry - Here's another picture of the Doodlebug. I was very lucky to get these, because in the old museum, the tracks were so close to one another (probably 20') that a full panoramic shot was impossible. Haven't been to their new location yet, but there is a lot of video on YouTube regarding their Big Boy move.

Somebody poured powdered sugar all over the street! WHAT the heck? It's SNOW!!! This should be interesting HALF the people around here can't drive in it cause they ain't NEVER SEEN IT before and the other half ACTS like they never seen it before! SHEESH!

If you gotta go TEN miles an hour in a half an inch of snow STAY HOME! Let those of us who KNOW how to operate vehicles in less than perfect conditions get where we are going SOME TIME TODAY! eh?

Around here, we get ice. I'll drive any day in snow, but I stay out of my car when the road is covered with ice.
 


So I need to file a complaint with woodland scenics. No messy cleanup my butt. There's plaster everywhere!!!! Oh well. My very first mountain and tunnel are in place. I have some foam that I may use up today. Not carving it because that sucks! I'd rather have a plaster mess than a foam one. Might come out less lumpy than paper wads.

Good Morning, Happy Sunday. 61°, and overcast right now. We have had 1.53" of rain since midnight. Later this afternoon, the temperature is supposed to nosedive into the high 20s. As long as it's wet and not frozen...

I have come to the conclusion, that the peninsula idea just isn't going to work as I have envisioned. Back to around the walls only, phase II. (Back to the drawing board).
 
Good morning troops! It's 51 at this time .. expected to be 59 for a high .. low was 37.
That's about a normal winter's day.

JOE We must have bought the same $10 ticket! I forgot it was $2.00 a ticket - thought I was getting $5.00 worth; that shows you how often I try .. most of the time I simply forget to get a ticket.
I hate to say it, but I have a bad feeling about the Packers today. I think that Redskins will trounce them.
Rogers hasn't played with his past enthusiasm this year. Redskins look like they WANT IT!

I got very frustrated yesterday. I typed a longer post than I normally do, however when I went to post it .. the dang computer said I had to "sign in" again. Long story short .. I lost the spoken word, so I threw down the iPad and sulked for the rest of the day. I think my iPad has a virus, or something; i's just not acting normal.

Got to get moving .. Wifey is returning from her escort to N Car. and I have a ton of housework to do. Took down the Christmas stuff, but its all sitting on the dining table and not packed up. She will not be happy if it's all still sitting around.

Chessie Your work looks pretty good. I guess that you are going to leave the paper under the hill??

I didn't want to but I don't see a way to get it all out. So yeah I guess it stays.

Boring day.... sigh.
Days like this make me wish I had TV to watch. Free TV on the internet only goes so far.
Wouldn't mind to binge-watch some Doctor Who. I don't know anything about the current Doctor or his "companion".
I could just about tell you anything about the last 3 Doctors and their companions.
Just keep those weeping angels away from me. They give me the heebie-jeebies.
Kind of the like the flying monkeys in the original Wizard of Oz movie.
