Good Morning All!
57F @ 50% dark, can see stars between the clouds. To be only 70F-ish later with possible rain.

Faucet arrived yesterday am. Am amazed how FedEx can sneak in when we are watching for them. Took about 1/2 hour to get it installed and sink put back together. This faucet is one of the 'water saver' types, thought those were banned? Still no hot water yet, so cross-connected the hot and cold line where the WH was so we could run the dishwasher. It does not get quite as hot working with 47F water out of the ground, but I will take it.

I entered 10 puns in a contest to win a prize. Sadly, no pun in ten did.

Good morning to the troubling forum Crew members. 70f degrees now and 85 and humid later. Some rain at 12:30am but radar was not showing it. I could hear the thunder about 10 minutes before the rain arrived but saw no lightning reflections anywhere in the sky. I am figuring that’s a true pop up storm!

I tried 5 or 6 times last evening till about 1:40am to get on the forum and succeed once. If this try had failed I was and still am ready for some time away from IMO the best of the model railroading forums.

The granddaughter was 15 yesterday and the party is today.

The Ops Session yesterday was great. I engineered 6 trains across the layout. My choice was the road pool even though I had chip #7

I now have the 2 abutments for the pony truss bridge I completed last week. I primed them Friday night and the goal is to get them back to the layout Tuesday. The owner decided to buy them from Monroe Models fka AIM instead of making them. Hydrocal for the material and they accepted the primer very nicely.

The grandson has a tournament ice hockey game at 10:50am. It’s do or die, win or go home. It’s a 3 on 3 continuous running time event. 30 minutes on the clock, 1/2 the rink and play. It’s possible they play 4 games today. 5 skaters and a goalie, it’s a quick, high scoring fun game to watch

Enjoy your day

Good Morning All. Clear and 77°. No change in the weather pattern, 101° yesterday, 102° predicted for today. This heat dome over Texas doesn't seem to be moving. The drought continues. Don't expect either to end until mid-September when the jet stream moves south a bit and lets the Canadian air in.

Forum is still acting up for me, mostly slow-moving. Haven't seen an error message for a few days. After a suggestion from someone here, I stayed logged in for a couple of days. Didn't improve the performance of the forum, but it saved time both logging in and logging out.

Dishwasher started my day yesterday, but I put off laundry until this morning. No significant change in yesterday's outdoor activities, got some mowing and weedeating done in the morning while still cool. Pool water was 86° around 11:00 when I got in. By the next time that I got in at 5:00, it was up to 89°. Still felt great in the 101° air! No outdoor tasks today since Mass will occupy my time.

Out in the train shed yesterday, I painted. Added the second coat of blue to the backdrop and re-painted the parking lot of Import Motors.

David - Best wishes and prayers for your wife. I looked up that Fosamax; that's some serious stuff!
Kusojiji - I make my sweet potato fries in the air fryer. The concentrated circulating air just works better.

The late John Phillips, singer/guitarist/founder of The Mamas and Papas, was born on this day in 1935.
Everyone have a great Sunday.

Good morning all!

Forum is clicking along great this morning.

Its a dreary rainy Sunday morning. Was awoke a couple times thru the night with rumbles of thunder and heavy rain. Currently its raining
steadily and the temp is 69F. High for today is going up around 52, but with this rain and cloud cover, not sure if it will make it. This was
not even predicted as of yesterday.

Not much to do today since groceries, laundry and pretty much everything else was done yesterday. Only plan for today was to mow, but
with the rain this morning and some more this afternoon doesn't look like it may happen. There is always tomorrow.

Wife is making homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast.

Have a safe day everyone!

Good Sunday morning. 80°F/70°F currently, but only gets worse from here on in for the next ten days. Summer is not giving up without a fight.

Got the grass cut on Friday while the temps were still nice. We haven't had a heat index for three days, but that changes today.

Hope you all have a great Sunday.

Servus!

Met the new Granddog this morning. His name is Churiso and he is an 8 week old Aussie Shepard/Border Collie mix. Sooo stinking cute and playful! We kept the 2 big dogs restrained and away from him for now . Once he’s bigger we will let them loose in the back yard.
Don’t mind the old dude with the childish grin!
