Good morning. I am going to give it a try again to post a few more photos of the shelf display. I did manage to get a few pigures in place, but still have many to paint.

Wille - Looking forward to see what you'll come up with on that blank slate.

Karl - Hope you heal soon.

Todd - Been there, done that. Years ago we replaced our old water heater with a tankless. Our old tank was in a space along side a closet. Did use a number of colorful words getting it out. We were on Natural gas and the tankless ended up saving over a quarter of our utility bill. There was a delay for hot water to appear at the tap, but you can have endless hot water. We had water going in the kitchen tap, dishwasher sinks in both bathrooms and the tub. Water flow did slow slightly, but it was always hot.

Rico has a good set of eyes. He picked out the No Trespassing sign upside down on the loading platform. Put a guy on that, Problem solved.

Adding figures sure make any scene more interesting.

I am going to have to put a paint brush to those cyclists. We didn't have the go fast racing suits when I grew up. It was shorts, T shirt and no pads if you had an accident. We survived.

Going to take the dogs up to the dam recreation area today and have to make a lunch and get going before it gets hot again. The forecast has temperatures dropping into the 80's, 70's and maybe even into the upper 60's.

They are my road warriors. They love to ride.

LATER

I got torn into by Terry like never before and the next day by my mother. I have not since ever said a word about what she spends on our kids or grandkids clothes since. I think my backside still has the scars!
I too have been on the receiving end of that wrath!

My wife practically gives my daughter an open checkbook at school clothes time. I have learned to let them go without me and I stay home
with the dog.

Ground turkey ($4.99) and ground pork ($2.99 are good alternatives for most of my recipes.
I found that adding a beef bouillon cube or two to your ground turkey or pork adds the beef flavor when making chili type stews, meat sauces, etc.

And while fresh ground turkey is expensive like you noted, Walmart has some frozen ground turkey “logs” for around $2.69-2.99 (last I looked) — significantly cheaper than the fresh stuff in the meat section and for a meat sauce or chili type stew it works great.

Good morning, all! A rather cloudy morning, with a 40% chance of rain. Hopefully this cloud cover will break the 100 deg. hot streak. Like Willie we are heading out for groceries shortly. Maybe a little train time later.

Forum - It is a bit disappointing the issues have affected the forum. Since I enjoy this site, and it's the only social media I use I will continue to log in when I can. However, I will probably keep posts short and few if any photos.

Well, howdy there internet peeps and those with dust bunnies

It's Troy again

Just got back from a trip to the Chiro, then the ortho walk-in clinic, then the pharmacy
Chiro said with my rollercoaster of pain, and major NSAID usage, he wanted me to go see either the Ortho or my Internist.

Figured the Walk-in ortho clinic is where the internist would send me. So I went there.

Saw a PA, got scripts for a Prednisone pack (7 pills day one, 6 on day two, etc), and a muscle relaxer (generic robaxin)

So, I'm hoping that the prednisone doesn't cause major cramping because I'm supposed to have Nsaids while taking it. The ortho guy suggested taking one pill every two hours to cut down on the cramping risk.

And, with no NSaids, I'm substituting Chocolate Chip cookies. They may not help the pain, but I do feel a little better.

Now, it is couch and heating pad time. Use the heat to attract the Meds to the right muscles.

Good afternoon folks it is 90 here, still hot but better than it has been.
Getting ready to put paint on some minis for a game convention in 2 weeks, but figured I would stop in here first. Mailed a guy a couple of older Kato SF F units and am getting One Kato SF F unit in return. The ones going out were not able to be easily swapped to DCC and his was a brand new DCC equipped one he bought by mistake. So we are both happy with the swap.
Anyway, you guys have a good afternoon.

Evening fellers. I hope all is well. Trying to keep my presence here. I know I'm hit or miss. More like far in between. Started the new job. So far seems ok. Can't say I'm shocked by anything. I'm going through manufacturer training though. That's always a plus. Something I begged for annually that never got answered. Technology is advancing too much in my field not to offer said training. Other good news. The misses and I celebrated 15 years together recently. Another milestone for us and hopefully we can get many more. That's all I have for now. I'll stop by again when I remember to do so. Hope everyone has a good night.

Happy Anniversary!

Got some priming and base colors on some gaming minis tonight. One of them is going to wind up as a Food Truck on a HO Module I will be doing for the club I belong to. Taco de Gato, specializing in 100% organic, road found delicacies.

I know, I have a twisted sense of humor.

No Nsaids sucks.

The Prednisone is knocking down the pain. But it's not fare enough gone to actually fall asleep with. I've got the biofreeze roll on menthol pain relief... but it's not enough either,
Bed....
Recliner...
Couch...

Gonna be a long night until I'm tired enough to ignore the pain.
