This is true. But ether will also be a prolonged sense of worry and anxiousness as well. It takes a long while for a father to become comfortable with his kids on the road by themselves... With all the other crazies out there.
Set expectations and make sure you don't let up on them. What is and what is not acceptable.
That would have been a ton back then.
Yes, we had to pay for our own insurance while in high school. I drove our 1972 chevy station wagon with bald tires. In 1976, I purchased my first car, using the money I made at Burger Chef, a 1968 vw square back (a two door station wagon). It was $450. I think the insurance was about 400 every 6 months.
It's interesting that in Japan graffiti on railroad cars/locomotives etc is not tolerated and you rarely see it.
I don't weather or do anything and so wouldn't add graffiti but luckily my main area doesn't really have it.
Tom: Looks like a Blackhawk
We have a couple guard units around here at Salt Lake Airport #2 (has a different name now but I don't know what it is). One flies Apaches and one flies Blackhawks. About 5 miles East of us. We seem them all the time in the air.
My daughter starts Friday and its a full day.My daughter starts her senior year at HS next Tuesday.
How far is FT McCoy from you? Could maybe be some reservist training going on.Just caught the last of 6 that flew overhead. Boy the ground shook! Military but too far away for me to ID
I had no issue agreeing with Terry that we would do everything possible to help our kids. We don’t believe we spoiled them though. Both worked but not during the school year. Kait painted school rooms for 7 summers in the Wausau School district and Brian trimmed Christmas trees for 6 summers (he can swing a mean machete!)
I looked up Blackhawk helicopter images

So you most likely are right as the side views are similar, thank you
I miss them old looney toons cartoons. They were hilarious and fun. All our cartoons in the 80s and 90s were either 30 minute toy commercials frequently interrupted by ads for McDonald's or beating you over the head with morals. Booooooo.
My vote is Blackhawk. I flew in the Navy version back in 1991. Helped the air crew fix the door so they gave me a ride. The other choice would be Apache.
Looks more like a Blackhawk but far away it's harder to tell. Especially if it's not a direct profile view.
Look for the donut on top. Those are the Longbows, the ones without the donut I call shortbows. One Longbow and 4 Shortbows, make a tribe of Apache. I worked where the made the apaches, they were always flying around. The other choice would be Apache.

The Longbow capable is the D (and later ) model. Interesting is our local unit was in Afghanistan and they had to take the radome off (the bit on top that identifies it as a Longbow) due to weight and high altitude and the ability to fly well at the high altitudes of Afghanistan.Look for the donut on top. Meat flavored chocolate? Sounds good! Or as BBQ Pit Boys would say - GUD!Because the raw meat in the tub with the lid still impacts the odor of the fridge contents,
I’ve had to watch the map, and go on a search and destroy mission to find the driver. They periodically have trouble finding me, and leave my stuff wherever.Amazon JP added a map to their shipping status page if an item is due to be deliered within a few hours. First time I saw it...
Well, as I was writing this, a package came in that I ordered from Amazon, the status of which I had just checked before starting this post. The map only applies if the delivery service is their own. This one came via Sagawa, so no map. Makes sense.
But, while it is a neat feature, it is not needed IMO. What am I going to do with a map? I'm not going to stare at it waiting or go use the map to intercept the driver.
They have the MAP in the USA today, for their own drivers (not 3rd party). I find it useful to know when they're close. It will tell you how many stops etc. So I know to be watching.Amazon JP added a map to their shipping status page if an item is due to be deliered within a few hours. First time I saw it...

Looks like a UH-60 (Blackhawk). So true! When the daughter turned 16 the morning of 11/4, she passed her driver license test. Then I dropped her off at school. That afternoon she had hockey practice with her team. When she finished practicing Terry and I were there in a driving snow storm. We gave her mom’s car to her. 1st though we quickly discussed the rules and that was not only would she drive herself to school and hockey practices she would also do that for her younger brother. One of the best stress relievers I had ever done. Not to have to rush from a client sales call wherever I was to pick the kids up from hockey and soccer was so wonderful. That was 1997! 2 weeks later her 1995 Ford Taurus was totaled when rear ended at a stop sign. She was fine but her brother in the back seat not so much. She then got my 1996 Taurus, Terry had a 1998 Taurus and I got that. Terry then got the new to us Taurus. We rotated 3 then 4 cars for the next 10 years as every1 to 2 years or 100,000 miles I got a new ( usually with 10-12,000 miles) from the local Ford agency’s rental fleet. Company car for me. The year before the daughter got married we asked her what car she wanted. Her answer was anything but a Ford Taurus!

Different cultures! I though cannot understand though how a company can let their equipment be defaced like railroads in the US, Canada and Mexico allow.
