I see the Birds picked up Flaherty from St. Louis....a .443 ERA pitcher in exchange for three prospects, a position player and two pitchers. They want him as a starter...:rolleyes:

Flaherty was a good pickup, for a "rent a pitcher" The birds gave up two high prospects. They both would have been buried on our depth chart anyway and another sleeper prospect. It could be a great trade if they sign Flaherty, and he performs at full capacity.

I was hoping for Verlander or Scherzer for thier ability and more importantly, their experience. With no lease signed for Camden Yards I suppose their contracts were too big.

AND THAT is where GOOGLE MAPS comes in right handy!
Because most all of my career was looking at maps (and I like looking at maps) - it is probably the most used App on my computer - well, close anyhoo!

100% agree. It's getting busy and to bed a little late or waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to go back to sleep. Stress symptom.

I always try and get an hour nap on Sunday early afternoon... And sleep in an extra amount on the weekend too but I end up waking up near normal time anyway.

I need to win the lottery (which I don't play) as that would allow me to buy my way out of stress and have others just finish everything LOL

IMHO, Scherzer is washed up...at least unreliable at this stage of his career. Verlander still has some in the tank, but both are overpaid and underacheiving. Thats why they were dumped. Flaherty, is still young enough that he can regain some capacity. Of course, until he proves otherwise he's a .443 ERA Rental.
