ThanksBest wishes on the pain and dizziness, and take care of yourself.
Mike, thanks. 30 minutes after the initial episode I did the blood pressure 126/72, did Blood Glucose, 118 and thinking back on it the hearing has been fine all day.Is your blood presser low? Or hows your hearing? Those 2 things are a cause of dizziness. When there is hearing loss it can lead to dizziness. Get it checked.

I am going to agree with Tony on his response…SWMBO sez I'm dizzy even when I am in perfect health! To that I reply "Well, YOU married it!"
Favorite, best, most memorable? All have different connotations. While not the best or my favorite, two concerts stand out as most memorable of the over 300 that I think that I have attended. Both were in Ft Worth TX.Favorite concert, I could never choose. I loved almost all of them!
Yep type 2 pretty much getting under control. It’s one of the reasons I have labs Tuesday is to check the A1C, liver and kidneys. At the risk of getting too personal - you don't suffer from diabetes do you?
I thought so as everything you were testing for is what my wife tests for as well and she has/had type 2 diabetes which she has now well and truly under control to the point where she is considered as not having diabetes at all.Yep type 2 pretty much getting under control. It’s one of the reasons I have labs Tuesday is to check the A1C, liver and kidneys.
It started about 20 minutes after my breakfast that this morning was 1/2 cup of granola and 1/2 cup of almond milk. I eat that 3 days a week. So nothing unusual there. I am a carb counter using 1 daily tab of 1000mg of Metforim and a weekly shot of Ozempic.
It was a sudden hit…
Most memorable concert.............Lewisville Pop Festival or officially known as Texas International Pop Festival, labor day weekend August 29, 1969. This was two weeks after Wood Stock. My date and I were only going for the Saturday show but made Sunday and Monday. Too many bands to list here. Most memorable because I married the woman I took to that concert.Favorite, best, most memorable? All have different connotations. While not the best or my favorite, two concerts stand out as most memorable of the over 300 that I think that I have attended. Both were in Ft Worth TX.
The first in 1970 was The Jefferson Airplane playing in the Daniel Myers Colosseum on the TCU campus. Two memorable things happened during the over 3 hour concert. First of all, after the opening act, a local band called Space Opera, finished their set, a local DJ got on stage and announced to the crowd that there were no Ft Worth police there and everyone should light up a joint; which the crowd enthusiastically did. Then part of the way through the Airplanes first set, an audience member shouted to Grace Slick "Show us your panties". She then raised her ankle length skirt up to reveal that she wasn't wearing any! Crowd went wild.
The second memorable concert was in July 1978 at Will Rogers Auditorium. During The Rolling Stones "Some Girls" stadium tour, they made a number of unannounced dates at small venues. This auditorium held 3000 people. The concert was announced on the radio at noon on a Friday with tickets going on sale two hours later. Me and a buddy made a correct guess as to where they would be sold and we scored 8 tickets. Great show, opening act was Peter Tosh (bass player for Bob Marley), followed by legendary Texas fiddler Doug Kershaw. The Stones played 17 songs including an encore of "Far Away Eyes" with Kershaw on the fiddle. I have since found out that the concert was recorded and a CD was issued in 2011. Some Girls: Live in Texas '78
Worst concert was Jo Jo Gunne opening for Emerson, Lake & Palmer in 1972, also in Ft Worth at the Tarrant County Convention Center. JJG was so drunk that they couldn't even perform. Greg Lake of ELP profusely apologized afterward.

Sorry to hear that, TomO! Just FYI - I just had a like episode right before I read of yours and it came on suddenly. It's been happening with me every now and then - last one was maybe 5-6 days back. Mine are bad enough that I have to grab on to something in order to keep upright and last maybe anywhere from 15 to 45 seconds. I have no warning ahead of time!It was a sudden hit…
Not saying this is your case, but simple low blood pressure (which you can check) can be caused by lack of fluids, water is best and salt, salt with iodine and or Himalayan salt as has other nutrients, can be a simple solve.Today started out with so much promise. I knew because of Wisconsin’s fickle weather it was a train room day. 4” of white stuff on the ground by 11AM and by 4PM it was pretty much gone. But the winds are still breezy at 13 mph but the gusting up to 30 is very loud.
So after breakfast I was heading down the stairs and after 2 steps almost flew to the bottom. I got dizzy and that was scary, made it to the bottom, on my butt, settled down and went back up. Basically I have spent the day upstairs on the love seat or in a chair under the big window. Not happy and while the strong dizziness is gone, I still have some. Enough still that I am staying off the stairs. So no weathering today but I am going to watch one of the NHL playoff games. Terry has gone down and brought up my tree making stuff. So I will twist a few more canopies for the Quaking Aspens. 5 canopies would be great tonight.
I have labs tomorrow at 9AM and if the dizziness is still there I will go to the reception desk and ask to see some medical person
Rooty Kazootie...wow! I was four in 1952. Kukla, Fran , and Ollie...yes, I remember that one too...just recently learned than Fran...stage name Fran Allison came from the same town I did, (Chester, PA), Her full name, Frances Allison Brill. Her father was a prominent physician. Winky Dink, that was the program where you needed a special screen, so you could draw on the TV...The Host was Jack Barry, notorious for being the host of the infamous $64,000. Question. "Andy's Gang", (Andy Devine), was the replacement for "Pete's Gang" hosted by Pete Boyle. Amos and Andy, was considered adult fare in my house. But I remember "Gunsmoke" on the radio. Still on in 1956. Anyone remember Soupy Sales? Funny thing was, when I came to Jersey in 1986, Arleen Frances of What's My Line fame, still had a daily radio show on WNEW AM, (WNEW FM was Hard Rock), and Soupy Sales had an afternoon radio show on WNBC.Texas Hobo wrote.............I also got to see Rooty Kazootie live back in 1952.
I never would have thought of this show EVER without your reminder.
I remember watching this show as a child. Along with Kukla, Fran and Ollie, Winky Dink (that aired in 1953) and Andys Gang with Buster Brown shoes as a sponsor. Later came Howdy Doody. I still remember watching Amos and Andy on TV but never listened to their radio show.
Pretty decent TV watching for kids in those days.
Thanks for the memories. I was running 027 Lionel trains in those days on my bedroom floor.

I managed Saturday and Monday myself. I was most impressed with Chicago Transit Authority and Rotary Connection on Saturday, and with Spirit and Tony Joe White. on Monday. No major gate-crashing like Woodstock. Public pressure forced the Speedway to shut down afterwards. The site is now apartments and a major strip mall. Most memorable concert.............Lewisville Pop Festival or officially known as Texas International Pop Festival, labor day weekend August 29, 1969. It was sex, drugs and rock-n-roll, Texas-style. On Labor Day weekend over 50 years ago, more than 120,000 people came together on Lake Lewisville for North Texas' own Woodstock.
