Good afternoon to all............

Not much news here except I am up and moving which is good.
I have accumulated a stack of card board boxes mostly from Amazon purchases and train stuff. I need to cut these up and stacked to haul off to the dumpster. Looks like todays project.
Maybe some time in the train room, more turnout servos to install.
Still need to clone my decoder project which is finally up to snuff.
Got a couple of Accurail, C. B. & Q. outside braced boxcars I would like to build and might get to those this evening. These kits go together pretty quick.

Good morning. It is 0820 and the shed is already reading 26 C. Humidity is at 70%. The TV says we are entering the rainy season, which I thought we already had (not as bad as you folks though). Shed battery is already at float.

I just found out that I missed taking my meds yesterday. Was wondering why I felt like stuff all day after my walk. Kinda good to know I ain't just weak and worthless... :)

A great day weather wise.72F was our hig temp. It was very hazy out there today due to the wildfire
smoke, but overall a very good day to be outside. Got all my mowing and trimming done.

I got notification today that my Scaletrains pre-order had arrived. The boxcars only went up $4.00 ea. so not
really the end of the world. I'm still kind of miffed that I was charged shipping on this order. I know they changed
their policy, but this order was done 13 months ago. I have no problem with them changing this policy, but on
pre-orders done before the change with the agreement that anything over $99 would be free freight. I just paid
it and let it go.

I even got some layout work done, and updated my build thread.

I have a feeling the "pre order to lock in price" model is going to have a credibility crisis.
 
Good morning from Kobe Japan. It’s 74F per the watch and sunny with scattered high level clouds. At 10:20am Friday. When I got up at 9 the watch claimed 72F. And humid.

We’re on our way to an Aquarium. We’ll spend a few hours there, and the SisIL wants to do some grocery shopping for dinner and we’ll go home. So I’m going to go solo to a model train store here in Kobe.

I believe your right! At least till things settle down

Plus I believe some are starting to get tired of not knowing when that model will get delivered. It could be anywhere from a year to 3 or more depending on the MFG. I will say Scaletrains is one of the better ones getting something out in the ETA. This order was supposed tp be out in late March, early April. so not too far off.
 
The aquarium has been interesting. We watched the Orca show and then the dolphin show. It’s amazing how they work with the animals to learn the routines. Pretty impressive.

We then walked through the four floors of exhibit area which mainly focuses on the fresh and later salt water fauna and flora of the local area (Japan) more or less. They do have California Sea Lions, penguins, sea turtles, seals, etc that aren’t local but most of the exhibits I think focused on more local stuff I could be wrong. The English signage is a bit thin compared to what I assume the Japanese is saying.

OK, my silly loco came in the mail. Old style Japanese toilet on wheels. It's about an inch and a half. Runs surprisingly well. It came with different eyes that you can apply. I chose this one as my friend used to say, the only strain you should have is on the toilet.

morning all

@TLOC you could maybe take a train trough feather river canyon? Or is that geographicly totally in another world? Because i know someone who would have some picture (photo) requests :P haha.

on another note:

- airport ZRH is up and runing
- partly cloudy outside and from time to time rain
- have to install my roof tent tonight, so that iam ready for the weekend trip with the boys!

- also the planing for the FRC Modules is a bit further then yesterday. i know what i want to build and iam also checking out aluminum deliverers in switzerland for the modules and stuff.
