those who tuned into Twitter last night
Is that on the AM or FM dial? 🤪
Finally, for Louis @Bruette : baseball game right now just ended.
Thank you!

Did you scout any talented players for the Orioles? Tomoyuki Sugano has turned out to be a real bargain for my birds this year! We can always use a few more.

I was skeptical when the birds signed a 35-year-old pitcher. But Sugano has proven to be a master of the art of pitching. He has a broad range of pitches and still has great stuff!

Did the zip file get saved to your computer? unzip the file and hopefully you can view. it's an mp4. if it won't play, I can try a different video format.
It did open for me. I did get to see it run for a few seconds, then it said the app needs updating, but there
is no update available for the app/ Go figure!

Kind of a neat little critter, thanks for sharing.

Good afternoon to all...........

I read this post a couple of days ago : Some ho modelers being too rigid
Then today I see this :

Well I bet those stiff neck "rigid" railroaders would have $hit (no pun here) after seeing this run.

Then I thought of the cartoon posted several days ago with 4 or 5 flies circling piles of crap and one fly said to the others" Is this stool taken ?" 🤣

Man, I love this forum. Have a great weekend......John

Today, Saturday, is a lazy day. We’re coming back this coming Tuesday and so we’re looking for things shopping-wise etc. we went to Daiso today (and two days ago — different locations). Daiso is the premier Japanese “dollar store” equivalent. It used to be 100 yen for everything but is now 100 yen and up. But most stuff is still 100 yen. (Currently about $0.70-$0.72 or so.). They have expanded to other Asian countries and are now expanding in the U.S. They opened one in the Salt Lake Valley (Ft Union area) a couple days before we left for Japan so we’ve not been there to see how it compares. But in Japan they reign supreme. They’re every where and range from small outlets to very large stores. We went to a big one two days ago and bought a bunch of things (mostly my daughter but I got some stuff including sheets of small “very strong” magnets) at that store. We wanted to go to one near here that is two stories and even more stuff. I got a few diatomaceous earth drink coasters and some small micro block (like mini Lego) toy sets (each 100 yen). I got a few the other day and a few more today. They make fun desk toys. Between the two days I got 4 from their train category and 4 from the “big robot/sci fi” category.

Daughter bought a ton of things like stickers to decorate cards and various things for her friends plus for her room / desk. Like I said, this puts US dollar stores to shame.

I also got this lunch time snack. The drink is a form of Calpis Soda. Calpis Soda is good. It’s a form of yoghurt or milk based soda and this one seems to have a special ice cream or sundae flavor. 100 yen. The chips are a smaller version of the steak bbq corn snacks I had at the beginning of our trip. 40 yen. The candy seems to be jelly or gummi sticks and to be melon soda or similar flavor. We’ll find out shortly. They had a bunch of different varieties. 100 yen.

The second pic is the lunch my sister in law just served me. Some sort of curry. (Japanese style curry). The wife and daughter got dropped off at a nearby strip mall or mini mall type shopping area and are walking home.

It’s overcast and mid 70s and humid. I’ll just be working on the computer today. Applying for jobs, working on a side gig , and reworking an assessment I did for a previous job local to me in Utah. I’m going to re-apply since the job is till open a month or 6 weeks later.
