Tonight's sunset in Cambria, NY.
There were a damn few 1st gen Colorados with 5.3 V8s from the factory. Owners of these trucks became very familiar with the local discount tire stores as the rear tires were quite short lived! One of my coworkers had a first gen Colorado with either the 4.8 or 5.3 in it. It was a tight fit for that.
So close...Alice! Got it! Eat my grits!
It’s Monday night on Hokkaido. Tomorrow evening we fly back to Kobe and my sister in laws house and a week later on June 10 in the evening we fly home. It took two days to get there (left Wednesday morning and got there Thursday evening). But coming home we get to Las Vegas (Osaka to Seoul to Las Vegas to SLC) before we leave Japan (raw clock time) and back to SLC only about 3 1/2 hours after we leave. lol. The fun of crossing the date line.Be well in Japan, when do u head home
That's better!Mel's diner? Oh no, it's kiss my grits.
That's the easy tell tale of a new driver hahaThe biggest problem is that the blinker and the wiper were reversed
I can't wait till the 2.2 liter 4 banger in the red S10 dies, give me a good excuse to drop in and "old school" 350 in it's place. Its real nice that they still make aftermarket kits for the conversion!Morning all,
61° and clear going for a high later of 89°. Storms expected overnight and tomorrow. Possibility of 1-2" of the wet stuff.
Karl is correct. The 2009-2012 had the 5.3 V8 as an available engine option. The 4.8 and 6.0 have the same basic block as the 5.3.
I looked at replacing the 2.9l 4 cylinder with the V8 on the old truck as it could almost be done cheaper than replacing the 4. The wife reminded me that that defeats the purpose of having the fuel sipper anyway (In other words she said no). Also something about being too old...I don't know anything about that.
