Have you gotten any additional work done on the module Josh?

Looking good Josh.Any new pics yet?

No new progress to report still, but I did get the suitcase connectors so I can hookup the bus line.

Ive been working on some customer build projects and working on the Rolling Mill, so once im done with those ill hookup the bus and take some pics as well of some new rolling stock ive gotten for the layout :D

Josh, Glad to see you got the suitcase connectors. Did you get the 2 blue color connectors as I did? I think they will save a lot of time. Can't wait to see more on this when you get more done. How is the rolling mill going?

Josh hasn't been on the site in quite a while, usually he's here every day. I recall him saying he got a second job, so he's probably working too much.

Yeah I remember him saying that. I just thought he might feel sorry for us and get some 1:87 work done;)

Hi Josh,

I am probably jumping in alittle late on this tread. I find your switching plans interesting, but I have one question, do you still plan to include the Rolling Mill on module #1? The reason I ask is, a Rolling Mill building is part of a large Steel Mill Complex, not really suited for Industrial Park switching area. What would be more appropriate is a Steel Warehouse. This is a large structure where coil steel of various size and thickness is off loaded by large overhead cranes and stored, then loaded onto trucks for final delivery to stamping plants. You could model a medium size warehouse with an entrance for coil cars to be spotted, as well as an inside entrance for trucks. This type of industry would require less space to model and you could include an extra track for coil cars waiting to be switched into the warehouse.

Great pics Josh,I might have to get some of those Wells and spines one day,and the ACes are great now I dont need an brass one lol.

Nice looking SD's Josh although I wish UP would get rid of the wings on the nose.

Thanks Stephen! I actually like the wings on the nose, but thats just me :D

Looks good Josh. Nice looking intermodel triains.

Thanks Michael, Now that I have a bunch of the Bowser 53' Spine Units (So far I have 4 of the 5-units and 3 of the 3-units, 26 cars total), its time to get a pack or 2 of the Walthers 48' 5-unit Spines and wait for BLMA to come out with their new ACF F89-J 89' Flat Cars (I got all 12 of them on pre-order lol) to add in there to provide a nice mixture of different equipment to the train :D. I also got a bunch of the new Intermountain Maxi-IV's on pre-order that will go with the BNSF ones that I have now

Thanks Damien! The Bowser Spines are great! They are beautifully detailed, and the IM Wells are right up there with them. Awesome deatails on both models, they both did a very nice job with those models. I cant wait to see what the new IM Wells look like!

The weathering on those trailers is incredible josh!

PS, any word on when the SP and DRGW heritage units will be out?

Thanks Matt :D

Are you talking about the SD70ACe's? If so, i have no idea and it will probably be another year or so before they are announced. I suspect that they will come with the 3rd run of them, but I dont have any inside information to say for sure lol
