Good Morning from My Sons Computer!

It seems that the rampent distruction of my crap is still going on:mad:! My son yesterday broke our Lap tops screen screwing around with it. Now I'm forced to use his computer in he filthy room! I feel like my life is in danger in this room! Any who Got a good idea for the replacement of the bridge and will post some pic's of it when I get a chance. Also I got two more Calls for Quotes for Mowing's:D Happy days:):):) I'll get on it this afternoon.

Larry, Oh I'm PO'ed.......And the rant I threw in privite in thrtrain room, with the door closed would have Made a Sailor Blush and a Marine Scared! What happen was as much my fault as it was the kid or kids that did the damage. I now Remeber to put the pad lock one the door and told my son, "No More Kids in The Garage!" It shouldn't happen again!

Phillip, Prayers and thoughts are going out fer ya Pal!~

Sandy, Nice pictures!

Good Morning---piculous ones!!:eek::eek::D:D:D:D:D

Oh! I get it!! There was a full moon!! ---no wonder everyone all piculous this morning!!:D:D:D:D:D

PC When things are all guibbly like they are at your place it is good to get a little time for oneself!! We've got your family on our prayer list:)

Chris The only thing I'll be worried about when the bridge is installed on Eric's layout will be a certain furry one they have at their home! One is enough!!:eek:

Going to do some checking up on some styrene pieces so that I can finish off the 'new life' feedmill/elevator----I got most of it done and along came the "no more styrene" blues again-----:mad:

Anyhoooooo----you all have a good one!!:D:D:D:D

Tom,

I echo Phillip's advice: Have that lung condition examined directly, not just over the phone. Take it from soomeone who's "been there" - I had pneumonia back in January 1997 and didn't know it. I had to sit on the living room couch to sleep, because my lungs were too constricted when I lied down. When I started having fevers, my wife "forced" me to see my doctor. That's when I learned that what I had was pneumonia. You remember Jim Henson, creator of the Muppetts? He died from pneumonia because he didn't take his symptoms seriously enough to seek treatment in time.

Well I didnt know if I should of gotten up today....I am another year older today....grumble grumble....

I guess I will treat myself for a good dinner or the wife will cook something tonight lol...

Anyways I went to the post office then to the bank today. Got done with my job search this morning a routine thing now a days for the unemployed like me since August...ugh. I drive myself crazy trying to swing things here and there but we do get by for now...will be heading up to Ohio to visit my parents next week to help dad out around the farm etc and stay for Thanksgiving etc.. will return back to FL in Dec.

You guys and gals a have a good one!

Got a call from the doc's office today about the culture test they did last week. It came back positive for a bug similar to MRSA but not as aggressive. I have to go to the pharmacy tomorrow to pick up a special salve that has to be inserted in the affected area with a cotton swab. If it's not one thing it's another.

Tom, my dad had similar symptoms, and it turned out he was suffering congestive heart failure. Most of us here aren't doctors, but I think you should go to see a real doctor.

Tom
Don't be messing around. I can echo Ken's experience. What I thought was just a bad cold turned into the P-bug and landed my butt in the hospital for a week! Nooooo fun, cept maybe the litle blond who would come into my room at night to beat on my bare back!!:rolleyes:
Doc still didn't want to let me out until I had someone smuggle a Big Mac Meal in to me. He caught me eating it and told me If I could keep it down, I could go home. 2 hours later I was home on the couch!:D
Phillip Prayers going out for the wife & son
Ken, I hear you are coming to our Friday night run session.......ahhhhh ....I seee...the mind control is working!!! MUHWHOHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!:D

Man, this is unheard of for November!:D If I get these accounts plus my current account's I should have a good head start for spring! I need 40 accounts total to get back to where I was $$ with the county. If all plays out right I should Nail 20 new accounts by December if, the trend we're on keeps on the path! My goal is 80 accounts and to work/Mow from Monday thru to Thursday. Then leave Friday thru to Sunday for catchup work or extra work or just a day off! The income from that should Double what i was bringing in with the county and working half as hard!:D I just got to keep up the PR work and marketing and remember not to bite off more than I can chew! well got to make some calls and such..........Catch ya later on!

Good morning folks

It was 40 F as I headed out onto the crowded highways this morning. High will be 61 F.

The roads are crowded this morning because the local transportation authority, SEPTA is on strike. There are no buses, trolleys, or subways in the City of Philadelphia running. The trains are running, however.

I am feeling better. The cough is almost gone and I am sleeping better. I still can get tried if I do too much at one time.

My son had his Boy Scout troop meeting last night. They are getting ready for their next camping trip coming up this weekend. At home I helped with taking down some of the Halloween decorations. I cleaned up some more on the layout. I didn’t get to run any trains but I am hoping to do so in the coming evenings.

Tonight will be a little crazy. My daughter has her flute lesson. She also has a volleyball try-out so we are trying to change her flute lesson for tonight so that they won’t be back to back. We switched guitar teachers for my son. I felt he was not getting much out of his former teacher. Also the guy was constantly worried about money. He would spend half the lesson trying to figure out if we owed him any money. I finally got fed up with last week when he wanted us to pay for lessons my son missed when he was sick and I had called in to let the store know that we would be missing them in accordance with their supposed policy. Every other place we have had lessons at would hold a make-up session if you are sick. These guys were if you’re sick tough luck you paid for a lesson you did not get. I guess they forgot a cardinal rule about service, I am paying them for a service; they need me, I don’t need them. So we have taken our business elsewhere. Now I have both kids on the same night, same time, and same place.

I hope everybody has a good day.

Good morning

It be all DULL DULL DULL---with our semi-permenant cloud deck sitting over the lower lakes---GRRR:mad::mad:

Chris That is good to hear!! If you get more then it'll be you looking at where you worked and going HA!! on you so there---HAAARRRRUMPH!!:):D:D:D
As to the smell---biohazardous material? EEWWWW!!:eek:

Tom Yes, let me join in the song and dance here! ---Get checked out by the doctor!! please!!:eek: Just get looked after---

Got some stuff to do today so's I better be getting after them!

Have a good one people!:eek::D:D:D

Good morning.

It's 63 and sunny. The high should be around 76.

Gotta go to the pharmacy today. Doc called late yesterday and said the culture swab taken last week came back positive for a bug similar to MRSA but not as aggressive. I have to pick up some special antibiotic salve for it. Also got the Home Health nurse coming around noon. May be able to some light layout work this afternoon.

Thank you Sandy!

Good Morning All!
After trying to catch up on two weeks of posts I missed due to no computer access, I've decided to start here again.

Jeffery- You SEEM to be following the doctor's orders. Keep up the daily improvement in your health. I have enjoyed your posts about the wather in Louisiana and the progress you are making on your layout.

Jim and Rex appear to have been run out of towm again and are calling it vacation on this forum. We will have to wait to judge by their tall tales.

Sandy- You are becoming an accomplished photographer. I look forward to your pictures, no matter the subject.

Chris- You have been the subject of some serious prayers by members of this forum. The way your business is growing, you may consider the county layoff a blessing in disguise. Keep plugging away getting new customers, in case someone drops you from their prayer list. You will stay on my list a little longer.

Phillip- your motorcycle riding weather is about to end. While visiting Horseshoe Curve in Pennsylvamia, I talked to a couple guys touring the train locations in central Pennsylvania. They said the cold rain was not much fun, but they refused to ride in the snow they had two days before at Johnstown.
They had 4 more days of sunny weather before they had to return home with the leaves turning color in the mountains.

I'll try to catch up on everyone's activities in the next couple days.

Went to the pharmacy and picked up the salve I need (a whole $1 on co-pay). It's Silver sulfadiazine. It's for Skin infections, bacterial, minor (treatment) or Ulcer, dermal (treatment)—it is used in the topical treatment of minor bacterial skin infections such as those involving skin grafts, incisions and other clean lesions, abrasions, minor cuts and wounds; and dermal ulcer such as leg ulcer. I also picked up a pack of cotton swabs with which to apply it and 5 tubes of glucose tablets (10 tablets each x 5 = 50 tablets) for $1 for each tube. Since my blood sugar was running quite low this morning I also got a small Snickers bar and a diet Dr Pepper to wash it down. Altogether the bill came to $10.22.
