MEMORIAL DAY 2011

:)

Good morning. It's 74° and cloudy. The high will be 90° and mostly sunny and breezy.

Nothing special planned for today. I might go to Wal-Mart later. I need a new roll of paper tape for my label maker and I may hunt around for a new movie. Speaking of movies, a couple of days ago (5/28) I ordered the Star Trek Next Generation movies collection. Generations, First Contact, Insurrection, Nemesis. Total cost $32.59 from Wal-Mart.com.

Sorry to hear about all your physical ailments, Jeffrey. They say getting old is not for sissies. I'm learning some of those lessons myself.

The owl does work, at least for pigeons. We had a house with open beams on the front porch. Pigeons would sit on the beams and crap all over the porch. I put an owl up, and they disappeared.

Well hell, Buy one of these puppies and give Woody HELL!

One of our local gas stations had a bird problem. Now every time I get near that station I keep looking for the hawks. They have a recording of hawks attacking or something because it is one noisy place now but no birds dropping dew on your head or vehicle LOL LOL LOL

Don't look now Jeffrey, but the Sci-Fi network is showing them all today! Generations is on right now!
Yeah, I know. Bad part is they're cut up with commercial breaks. I don't mind most of them but I draw the line at commercials about laxatives and other such things. I usually record the show on the DVR and watch it later so I can skip over the commercials. Once I have them on DVD I won't even have to do that.

Happy Memorial day guys!

Sorry I have not been around much, that damned PS3 has me addicted. I promise to get around to updating you all on some of my projects, in the WPF thread, but that might not happen for a few weeks. Got a marathon stretch of work here (9 days), starting today (ugh, working on Memorial day, DOUBLE TIME!).

Anyways, photos to come.

Hi Josh, it has been awhile since you stopped for a chat. Darn nice to see you here. Stop by when you have some more time and have a cup of jo. Heck, I might even buy you a burger. :)

Darn!
I lose internet service for a couple weeks and y'all move again.
But, I tracked you down.

I'm glad to see that others survived the sun, swimming, hot dogs, potato salad, and banna pudding on Monday.
Remember, this is a short week and enjoy it!

Good morning folks.

You waited until I left for the weekend to move the joint huh?:D This place smells a little fresher, if you know what I mean!

I'm back to reality after spending the weekend at the lake. It rained quite a bit this weekend, but we managed to spend a few hours on the boat in the sun. I also finished decking out the garage that I painted the other weekend. Mother is pleased so that's what counts. Not to mention that I get paid to do her chores. I've tried denying the money, she won't have it. I guess I'll take the money.:o

I work four days then we are off to Kansas City for a Twins game and Nascar race. I'm going to try to eat BBQ for ALL meals! This is part two of my summer vacation. It better not rain for this trip.

I better get to work.

I hope you all had a good weekend.

Good morning. It's 74° and cloudy. The high will be 91° and it will be mostly sunny. The chance of rain is practically nonexistent.

Nothing planned for today except to stay off my feet as much as possible. My train wreck of an ankle is still causing me quite a bit of pain after the workout it got Sunday. The ringing in my ears is running through alternating tones from high pitch to low pitch and back to high. I watched a documentary this morning on the history 4-4-0 American Standard locomotive. Now it's time for something with a bit more humor. Night at the museum looks like good choice as I've never seen it before.

Good Morning,
It's a cool brisk morning this Tuesday, May 31st with a temp of 48*. I was awoken earlier at about 6:20 by the damn Wood Pecker on the roof above my bedroom, seems to be his favorite spot. At least I know he's there but again spent too much time up trying to find out about a new Air Rifle I'm buying as the one I have is just not powerful enough as they are smart and cunning birds and fly to where they are out of range to me.

Have a good day,

David
