Good morning. It's 65 and clear. The high will be 85 and it will be sunny.

I've been laid up mostly the past few days. Been using the time to get some rest, watch some DVD's and make the doc happy by staying off my feet as much as possible. However I'm going to have to disappoint him today. Gotta get out to pay some bills that can't be paid on the net or by mail then there's the grocery shopping to do.

HHeeLLLoooo, anybody here????
Humm, either I missed the bus, or everyone has started the weekend early.

I guess Chris has the best reason to start the weekend early with the new GF!
I hope everyone's favorite football team wins this weekend! Even, Rex's team.

I think I'll go check out the freight on the siding outside the plant right now.

Busy week! apparently not for you Flo...

Rain, rain, and oh yeah, more rain. The first 2 days of practice in the rain were fine, the 4th in a row was ridiculous. We were going to practice in the bus barn but wound up staying outside. In other football news, our varsity's homecoming is tommorow. I also gained a starting spot on Kickoff team, and secured my second string position for defense. :)

Tonight, its just me and my mom. My dads at camp and the sister is at my grandparents. We had to go to the mall to grab some reciever gloves. I wound up getting 2 pairs. Taco bell was for dinner.

Tommorow is going to be a ridiculously busy day. Ill be up at about 6 to get ready for our game. We should be home (with a victory ;)) around noon. Then i should probably go to Varsity's game. Then to end the day, is the Homecoming Dance. I cant wait. :D

Oh yeah, and i might have finally tracked down those CP Rail AC4400s :D

Good Morning

I actually had 6 emergency calls--5 because of no show staff---yay:eek::mad:

Any hooooo---I'm going to see if'n I can get some shut eye----have a good one people!:D:D

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!

Its 47 degrees out this morning!! Going to a high of 69.:)

Yeah, it's the weekend??

Gotta cut the grass, clean the gutters, put up new railings and lattice around the deck, then paint. Trim the boxwoods, rake the mulch back in place, and paint the front porch railings.

Yeah, it's the weekend, ,,,,whooptie freakin do! No choochoos for me today!:(

Good morning everyone.

It's sunny and chilly today. 43 with a high in the upper 50's. Perfect walking weather.

Not much going on in the train area. I've been busy doing everything but working on the trains. That's okay, the colder it gets, the more we'll stay home. We are going to La Crosse WI this weekend so I will get to set foot in an actual hobby shop. Not a very well stocked one, but a hobby shop none the less!:D

Hope you folks have a good weekend.

ROFLMAO!:D Ditto on what Terry said, Sounds like time to look in to a lawn service!hehehehehe

Chris, I think either we scared 'em away, or Karl fell off the roof of his house cleaning the gutters. Or both...

If he fell off the roof, how many bounces before he comes to rest? I'd say two!:D

Ha ha Señor Butterball! ;)
No bounces for me. #1, I didn't fall off the roof, #2 it's hard to bounce when we've had so much rain that the flowerbeds just kinda suck in anything that falls on them, and #3, at 6 ft 2, 205 pounds, with a 32 inch waist, I'm too solid to bounce.
Never did get to the deck railing yesterday, or trimming the boxwoods. Seems the wife had other plans for me. ;)
We'll get to them today, then we go to a surprise 65th birthday party for Jan's Uncle this evening. Oh joy, oh bliss! I'd rather stay home and play with the trains!

We'll the suns coming up, time to get cracking and wake up the neighbors! Ahhh, Powertools!! Rah, rah , rah raaaaaaaaaah!!:D

I can do the same thing with a few sound equipped locomotives. My next door neighbor had another one of her weekly "birthday parties" about 3 weeks ago, until 2 am. My den (train room) shares a common wall with that neighbor. At 7 am, I turned on my layout, put every sound equipped loco I own on the track (21 of them), and turned their bells on. At full volume. For about 25 minutes. A little while later, while I was out walking our dog, said neighbor came stumbling out of her apartment, looking very hung over. She hasn't had any more "birthday parties" since...:D

I don't know, if Karl fell here he might bounce pretty well. Just how many times might be like the age old question of how many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop. The world may never know.:D

One of my neighbors decided to go outside late one night and just lean on the car horn. He'd do this 4 or 5 times then go inside for a little while then come back out and do it again. When he came out for the third time I had turned my van around so the front was facing toward him. He leaned on his horn again and I pressed the button for mine. A 15 second 185 db blast shook the windows and rattled his eardrums. We haven't heard a peep out of him since.

Rex- I don't think the Florida fans will be writing home about the hospitality in T-town on Saturday night.
4 of the last 6 of the last losses by Florida came at the hands of Alabama or Auburn. I don't think Urban Meyers is happy with any Alabama football school.
Anyhow, Roll Tide.
