Dana, you and yours have our condolences. I lost my Dad in January , one of his maladies was dementia, now I am seeing signs that Mom is starting down that road too. Funny thing is Mom talks about it like she is aware of it. She keeps joking about hiding then finding her own Easter eggs.

Mikey. No Napoleons up here. No our State inspectors are more like former SS officers. "Du mussst git dis fixed or no driving for you!"
Kills me, cuz the only time we get an inspection is when you re-title a car. Not annually or bi-annually like some states. SO we buy cars, keep em 20 years, and laugh at the schmucks that buy a car every so often. :p

Jeffrey Are you going to get that hopper upright and on the tracks, or do we have to call Hulcher on you??;)

Chris Nuke button?? Financial ruin? If you are legally seperated, how can she impinge on your credit? Time to re-huddle with the lawyer, find out what she legally can or can't do, and start calling her bluff on the stuff she can't do. Also, why is Ryan with her? Isn't he old enough to make up his own mind?

Hope the rest of ya are doing well, Bill Tidler, I like the girls on skates!! Betcha there are some powerfull legs under them skirts!!!

Gotta run, the feedbag overfloweth :)

:)

With out going into great detail, if she does what she threatens to do, It would hurt us both! She's dumb enough to do it, and she has no idea how serious her threat is to me and more or less to her! Credit ain't the problem, My credit rating is in the toilet any ways and If I loose the house well:(..........

The problem/threat is more my Lawn service, tax and unemployment related! Me and the lawer are just tring to come up with something we both can live with! I just want out now!:mad::mad:

Ryan is old enough to chose but if she carries out her threat than neither one of us will be able to raise ryan from behind bars! I'm not dealing with a sane person any more, she is full blown nut's and out there! All I can say what comes around goes around, and in her case, I'd hate to pay the bill she's got coming when the train arrives in her station!;) At any rate me and Ryan only got 2 1/2 years before he's driving on his own and then they really can't stop him from visiting me anytime he want's.

Just a matter of time right now........

Good morning folks.

Chris, I'm assuming the nuclear button is bringing up your unreported income. That will hose you for child support, unemployment, and tax reasons. If that's not the button, you had better hope she doesn't find that one too!

We have a BINGO! But she is just as much in it as I'am! We file jointly, she did the paper work and She forged my signiture on some checks and I got a note on one paper of her taking money to pay for the dogs shots! So She is just as wraped up in it as me and she needs to shut up or we're both up the creek!!!!!!! I don't care if I get in trouble I'm going to get hosed anyways! But the good thing she get's the house with it's $650.00 morgage she can't afford!

Hopefully her lawer will talk her down.

Actually there's two hoppers knocked over. I'm not worried about them right now. I have bigger fish to fry. I got the van insured and registered today. That's two more steps to getting it on the road.

Jeff- I saw in one of your pics awhile back KCS Belle hoppers i think. Are those the Athearn Trinity Hoppers? If so, any reviews on them?

Chris- Sounds like an uneeded headache for both sides if you ask me. Maybe its a dumb question, but why cant you file for divorce first? Its really none of my business though. Pulling the rug out from underneath both of you is just stupid. Both of you did something wrong, why put it out in the open. Even if your willing to hurt yourself to damage the other person, why jeopradize your son?

School less than a week away :(

One is RTR, the other is a Genesis Trinity. The only real difference to me is the second one has a bit more detail. Both track extremely well but the narrow coupler pocket (common to both) makes it a little tricky to change out the couplers. I believe a Kadee #78 or #33 can be used but the coupler pocket must be modified. Here's a link to the PDF that describes the conversion.

Dana, I am very very sorry to learn of your loss. I haven't been on this for a couple of days and got behind. That is a terrible disease and finally there is enough publicity that people are becoming more aware of how terrible it really is.

Chris: dang man! What can I say...I figured that it would get messy, but this news is outrageous. Let the man with the suit guide you all the way and be sure and keep your mouth closed to all others ;) :)

I'am tring to file first and as for last question my wife has a mental problem and she is not thinking to straight! It's kinda like giving a Baby a loaded hand gun with the safty off! Somebody is going to get shot!

Good morning everyone.

The help around here gets better looking everyday. I'm not sure if it makes me more hungry or less!

Chris, I hope cooler heads prevail. I don't think you'd see jail. You would however see back taxes, penalties, a possible fine, less unemployment, and difficulties continuing your business. Someone needs to medicate her asap!

Well, I'm out of trees again.:( This time I spread around what I had in order to be content until I feel like ordering more. All of the basic areas are covered so it won't look stupid. It just won't look done until I finish it out later. Oh well, I'm sick of making trees anyway. I need to start painting the last few kits I bought before it gets too could outside.

I still haven't found out why a third of my track isn't working. We'll have to tackle that when I get home from the lake this weekend.

It's suppose to be highs in the upper sixties to lower seventies. Usually I'm pumped up when it cools off like this. Riding on the boat will still be fun, we'll just have to wear pants, sweatshirts and skip the can coolers!;) I guess that's what happens when you go to the lake in September. You never know what you're going to get.

I suppose I should head out to work.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning. It's 75 and sunny. The high will be 92 and it will be partly cloudy.

Today I expect to have the fuel line on the van installed permanently, so it should be mobile by this evening at the latest. The only major thing remaining is replacing the head lights. That as we all know takes money which is in short supply at the moment, so that has to be put off until I have the funds for it. No big deal. That gives me more time to chase down the gremlin in the tail light wiring. Yesterday I had to put off clearing out the Century to get the van insured and registered. I had the license plate from the Century transferred to the van so at least I didn't have to get a new plate. Possibly tomorrow I'll finish clearing out the Century. Once that's done I'll call the scrap yard to come and get it. My mother is eager to have it out of her driveway. It'll be easier to clear if I can get the van down there. Then I can transfer the stuff from one vehicle to the other. Especially the light bar. That's a heavy thing and I don't intend to carry it any further than I have to. It's not just the weight of the bar, there's 10 feet of heavy cable that's attached to it. Hopefully after all this is over with I can get back to the layout.

She's beyond Med's:mad:! The funny thing is it will affect her $$$$ as much! Either way I'm praying she see's the light, take's what the courts gives her support wise and just GO AWAY! As for my son, that's another story for another time..... Guy's pray hard for my Son and I and keep us in your thoughts!:o And if any one is in to VOO-DOO, I got some of her hair here!:D

BTW: do you think holy water and wooden stake to the heart would work?

Bill- I certainly appreciate the time and trouble you are going through to get these waitresses to stop by the cafe.
I'm going to have be a bit more regular in visiting here!

Chris-You are just a dumb ol' country boy and didn't know about all them tax thingies. See if your lawyer thinks showing up in your grass cutting clothes will help? Hang in there!

I can't wait til the cafe has topless waitresses!:D:p

I'm hang just hating the waiting around wondering?

My nephew told me at noon today that he would be right out to help with the van. Here it is 4 pm and no nephew. Why am I not surprised?

A very early good morning from Ye Olde London Towne. Although its late afternoon or evening for most of you on t'other side of the Atlantic.

Hello again all. Its been a long long time since I popped into the coffee shop. I've stuck my head in the door on occasion but haven't stopped in.

Its good to see for the most part things are ticking along well.

Bill: thanks for coming back with your daily post. Its just one of those things that sets the day off right.

Chris: man, you've had more s**t thrown at you than anyone deserves. Listen to your weasel and work at a CYA strategy. (cover your a**) If the soon to be ex is as psycho as you make her out to be she'll not care about the damage she causes. Your best bet is to minimise the damage to you and your son.

Matt: Not sure if I was still posting regularly when you started your addiction to Flo's java. If not, nice to meet you. Love your Shankley quote. You do know who he was don't you?

Jeffery: the changes to the layout are looking good. Take it easy with all the van restoration work.

So just to update things on this side of the pond. Work has been interesting to say the least. Lots of bench time which is a mixed blessing. Part of me was enjoying the time at home, part of me was guilty for literally getting paid to do nothing, and part of me was bored. I'm now doing a bit of consulting work for Crossrail which is a project to run a new railway line under London from west to east. Its a pretty amazing bit of engineering.

Home life has been strange. My son has decided that he has worn out his welcome at his mum's and has moved in with us. Until we can get his UK passport sorted out we have a 20 year old couch potato. At least we've kept him busy doing the hard landscaping in the garden amongst other chores.

As far as modelling goes, I'm almost finished the track and wiring on 4 modules for the club's modular layout. In a couple of weeks they'll undergo the measurement and wiring acceptance tests. Once that is out of the way I can get on with the rest of the scenery and structures.

take care all and have a great day. (what's left of it anyway) :D

Flo: I'll have a 4 shot skinny latte with a side order of waitress.

Andrew- Nice to meet you. I dont believe weve ever spoken in the coffee shop before, however your avatar looks familiar for some reason. I see your a BN and CP modeler, well get along just fine :D I know who Mr. Shankley was, i used that quote because it reflects how i like playing High School football. To bad his quote was talking about the other football, or soccer here in the states.

Chris- Heres to hoping everything works out in your favor!

Jeff- Thanks for the quick review on the hoppers.

Bill- The menu looks delicious, id have whats in the picture above it, but thats like cigarettes, need to be 18 to legally enjoy those :D

Went to start the van today and it wouldn't start. It's never failed to start before. An investigation revealed that the coil is cracked and leaking. Pretty obvious the coil is shot. Went to town and got a new one. I'll see tomorrow if that's the entire problem.

No problem Littlefoot.
