I hope so I love a woman who can wear clothes like they are just painted on.

So we're in a new coffee shop now. Nice.

I picked up a ton of Custom Rail auto racks, be watching the WPF for the next few months for tons of pics!

Well at last I finished my Cross intersection in Nickel Silver, the one I made previously was in iron and used to rust often, now I finished this and can place it on the layout :)

Still needs some cleaning and retouching.

Oooooooohhhhhh Man! Yawn,,,,,,,,. What a day. first the Camp Program comittee that just wouldn't end, and then 4 hours this afternoon setting up sound for Sherrie Maricle Diva Jazz Orchestra that is coming to town tomorrow. They have a video production company getting footage of their show at the Middle School tomorrow so I had to set up mics and monitors as well as figuring out how to fill the needs of the production company.

Flo, decaf please and just let me sleep!

Ok, been good to just sit and relax for a bit. Now I'm off to bed. But before I go, this little guy was sitting on my porch yesterday morning. Caught this photo of him though my (very dirty) dining room window. I tried to sneak around the house and get a better picture, but as soon a I was spotted, he was gone.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD Morning Railroaders!!!

Nice hot day here, a little cloudy, and a predicted temp of around 27°C.
I'm ready to go take photos of incomming aircrafts for the annual airshow. Well I have to take pics of something since we got no trains :P

Nice pic Ray, it has a big bushy tail, like the ones they used to have on hats in the old days :) ( at least its what I see on TV :P )

Thanks for your comments Jeff. Its not a hard thing to do, just need to have patience in the work. Today I will have to clean it better before I place it back in the layout, but I tried to run some cars on it, and works fine.

Good morning folks

It is definitely warming up. You can feel the humidity rising. It was 62 F this morning and high should be 82 F. It is supposed to be in the mid-eighties with high humidity all weekend. Still no rain in the next week.

No modeling last night. Between spending most of the day looking at an old bridge and driving to it and my son’s football practice I had no energy left. The drive to the project site was over an hour on way from the office. I will be out in the field again today looking at another bridge project. This one is a little closer, only about 45 minutes from the office.

This weekend we will be off to the wonderful world of grocery shopping. My daughter has basketball on Saturday and my son has his first home football game on Sunday. Unfortunately for his team the Drexel Hill Raiders Midget JV Silver they will be up against the best JV Midget team, the Springfield Cougars Blue.

Modeling-wise I need begin adding foliage/bushes around the buildings in the Farm House area. Also I can work on weathering the hoppers on the workbench. Then there is also the diorama I am working on for my wife and the museum she works at. I will be teaching her how to make trees so we can use them on the diorama.

I hope everybody has a good day.

We are getting off to a dry and warm start on this Friday morning with 5am temperatures in the 60s. Today will turn out to be another hot September day with highs approaching 90 degrees this afternoon. Our normal high is now 76 degrees.

Just doin' time til the weekend gets here!

Anybody know where I can get any of these, cheap?

Every place I see them online wants $50+ for them and I can't afford that right now.

Good Friday Morning Everyone!!!! Well the weekend is upon us and I'm excited, this has been a longgggggg work week!! Modeling plans for me including painting my rails and possibly start in on some scenery stuff. Might run over to the LHS and pick out a new kit or two to work on. Also got clean up the smoker I'm building and paint it.

Mornin folks,

Looks like the new coffee shop is having a busy morning. I have to get over to school to do sound checks for DIVA in 45 minutes. I'll have the large stack of pancakes and lots of coffee, Flo. BTW who's the new girl? Man, I should have sat at the counter. Now that is service with a smile. Mouse told her to interview? Hmmmm.

Good Morning All !!! Another beautiful day here on the Niagara Frontier . suppose to get up to 84 . Nice and warm all along the Eastern United States . Nice start to the weekend . I'll have a Cup of coffee and rye toast from the new waitress Flo is she working her way thru college ? gotta another wedding to go to tonight should be lots of fun! Well have to get going have a nice day all !!

Morning gang! Looks like everyone is set for a busy weekend. T-Town is bracing again for a football weekend with U of Georgia coming to town. Hopefully, we will have good weather for the game tomorrow evening. That tropical depression in the Gulf (or what ever it is now) is pumping humidity up this way and the rain chances will start to increase tomorrow.

Like a new father-to-be, I am pacing the floor waiting on my new PCM, Y6B to arrive from Factory Direct Trains. Nope, not today, but Monday...I just get excited well ahead of time.:o :o :D There is one heck of a sale price on these with a MSRP of $699 and a sale price of $250 w/sound. The Bigboy wo/sound was the same price, but they have already sold out.

Max: Nice crossing. If you were here in the states, I would have mailed you one. I have had it for 3 years and never found a place to use it.

Ray: Nice photo of the tree rat:D . They are fun to watch (and eat:rolleyes: )

NYPaul: Hope all is well with the Doc.

:) Have a great day!:)

Just have to post this:

A first grade teacher explains to her class that she is an Auburn fan. She asks her students to raise their hands if they are Auburn fans too.

Not really knowing what an Auburn fan was, but wanting to be liked by their teacher, their hands flew into the air. There is, however, one exception.
Susie has not gone along with the crowd.

The teacher asks her why she has decided to be different. “Because I’m not an Auburn fan”, she reports.

“Then,” ask the teacher, “What are you?”

“I’m an Alabama fan” boasts the little girl.

The teacher asks Susie why she is an Alabama fan.

“Well, my Dad and Mom are Alabama fans, so I’m an Alabama fan too”, she responds.

“That’s no reason,” the teacher says. “What if your mom was a moron and your dad was an idiot. What would you be then?”, the teacher asks.

Susie smiles and says, “Then I’d be an Auburn fan.”

:D :D :D

"ROLL TIDE ROLL"

Ok I got one for ya a buddy sent this to me. Enjoy!!

BEST diet story ever!!

I was in Walmart buying a large bag of Purina for my dog and was in line
to check out. A woman behind me asked me if I had a dog...

(DUHHHH)
I was feeling a bit crabby so on impulse, I told her NO and that I was
starting The Purina Diet again, although I probably shouldn't because I
ended up in the hospital the last time.

BUT, I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in an intensive care unit with
tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IV's in both arms.

Her eyes about bugged out of her head.

I went on and on with the bogus diet story and she was totally buying
it. I told her that it was an easy, inexpensive diet and that the way it
works is to load your pockets or purse with Purina nuggets and simply
eat one or two every time you feel hungry .

The package said the food is nutritionally complete so I was going to
try it again. (I have to mention here that practically everyone in the
line was by now enthralled with my story, particularly a tall guy
behind her.)

Horrified, she asked if something in the dog food had poisoned me and
was that why I ended up in the hospital.

I said, Oh NO!, I'd just been sitting in the middle of the street
licking my butt when a car hit me.

I thought the tall guy in back of the line was going to have to be
carried out.
