I should have the town up in about two hours
That is what house constructors and town planners dream of!! It's interresting reading/watching your threads about the backdrop(town) It is a technic that everyone could learn or do very easy with a great effect!! And that's MRR deals mostly about. Thanks
Jos

Poor Bill Dance! We all have had those days. FYI: not the straps, but the locking pin for the truck hitch came out.

One very bad fishing day: I got up around 5 a.m., my bait minnows were all dead and had to go buy some more, went to friends house and he wouldn't get out of bed to go fishing, launched boat by myself by tyeing rope to truck and jerking it off trailer--the rope broke and I had to swim out to the boat and bring it back in, (forgot to take out wallet and everything soaked) took off up river and hit a large wave from a barge and spilled my new minnows all over the boat and lost my lunch in the river. :) Bright side: The fish were really biting good and I got my limit. ;) :D :D

Afternoon, uh..... Bill, Luc, Jeff, Steve, and Rex.

Just got home from the MLK Service and dinner. Man that Sweet Potato Pie was goooooooooooood! Our featured speaker was the director of the Washington DC office of the NAACP. He was supposed to address the Geneva chapter of the NAACP last fall and his plane got stuck in NYC and he never got here. Our committee decided to give him another chance to speak here in Geneva so we invited him to be our speaker. I bet none of you can guess (with the lovely weather in the Northeast what happened......)? Plane was two hours late getting into Syracuse. He got here but missed the service. We had him give his speech while the dinner was going on. He had to eat quick give his speech and then get back into a car to get back to Syracuse to catch a plane home. Excellent speaker and a very pleasant gentleman! Of course his not getting to the service kept several of our state politicians at the service for the whole time so they could get a publicity shot of them shaking hands with him. BTW, he arrived just after they left.......... ;) Actually these are very politicians who are very good our area and have been good people in office. We are honored that they take the time to come to the service each year.

I might actually get to play trains again sometime this week.

Hello Folks

A very sad week for Jan and me, my Sister and B.I.L need their money out of our property for other investments. They have a half share and we can't buy them out. So the place is going on the market.

So the Midland Line is no more I shall start packing it away asap.

The only good news... a good profit should be made and I will have more time for Brigette, Jan and MRRing

Catch ya'll soon.

Ken.

So

WOW that was totally unexpected!

At least you didn't already have everything fully scenicked. You can probably transplant/re-use at least 80% of your track.

Like all painful things, this too shall pass...

Rapist

Hi All, New Zealand Ken very sorry about the loss of your property , Boy that is a bummer But everything has a golden lining I guess. You know I was gonna start out about the weather but somethnig else came up more important. I don't know if I told you back in October about a Bike Path Rapist who attacked again after 12 years and killed a mother of two. It was the third murder he was tied to along with countless rapes since 1986. Well they finally caught him after a lot of police work. Come to find out my daughter had a picture of him taken about 8 years ago when she went camping with her girlfriend . He went along with them and his family . My daughter was really shook up after she learned that she was with this animal for a week . Boy you sure don't know people. A normal looking family man who led a double life. Man in center of picture that my daughter took is the accused murderer rapist!!! By the way the woman in center of picture is his wife . I feel really sorry for her.

And now for the rest of the news boy the weather is something else Form Clifornia to New York what a mess. Here's some pictures out my back door. Also went to the heart doctor today and he gave me the happy news . My blockage is to close to the heart so the doctor does not want to take a chance with a stint unless he absolutely has too. It's at the intersection of three arteries and his blocking two of them 90 percent . So he gave me a script for nitro tablets and said to keep and eye on it . If it gets worse they can try to stent it or perform surger and replace the whole shot. Boy just what I want to sit around and wait for a heart attack. Guess I will get some more opinions on the subject. Have a real nice dayall !!

OLDGETTYSK That's about the same story with my blockage but mine is just a small blockage but that's why my doc didn't want to do a stench instead he put a defibrillator in me so should my heart stop beating because of my lower defiberlation I get it will kick start me well in theory anyway lol

Jeffrey I'll join KenL! As I wrote in your thread: just great. BTW In the "Coffeeshop" it is much easier to watch you Piece of art, don't have to push the buttons!
Of course GOOD morning to you All!
Paul:
and said to keep and eye on it
That is the easy part. But living, what you wrote, with the fear of maybe having a heart attack... How come that doctors say/do like that???
If it is possible for you to have a second opinion...go for it!
About the rapist: incredble...so close to him. There are still many sick minds/persons on the globe!
Ken from N-zealand: That went/goes fast..Hope you and your family will find another nice place/home you showed in the pictures you posted here !
Wish you and your family good luck with it!
Steve BAgain thanks for the hint: Bill Dance...
Rex I read on the website of the company( Monday 15 januari 2007) that makes the vid of Bill Dance- the fishing gurus- that they are looking for a stand in:p ;)
Know it is not fun at that moment but when your home safe warm and dry it is something for a great laugh afterwards.
All have a nice day!

Jos

Mornin' Bill!

Mornin' Jeffrey!

How's everybody doing today! Just the usual "Old Phart" cereal for me today. Overate a bit yesterday. Nice seasonable weather here in the Finger Lakes this morning. High will be 21°F with a low tonight of 10°F. Litte bit of partly cloudy falling out of the sky (got about half an inch during the night) to cover the black ice that is a problem on the back roads. Looks like Old Man Winter is back in charge and has tossed aside that El Nino fella for a while....

Have a great day!
