Morning all,
Ken M Hope your well soon Ken, nowt worse than headaches.

I went out into the bush camping with the boys last night, well down the garden anyway, what a laugh that was, every little sound and they were all over me, what's that, what's this what the heck, i think they nodded off at around 1.30am but woke up at 6 with the hen's cockadoodle doing, oh well, they will sleap tonight.

Just come down from the attic, i finally got a cool morning to do the fibre glass batting done, i had to put 12" of the stuff in to pass building regulations, what a crappy itchy job that was.

Mornin' Bill!

Ken M, sorry to hear you've been under the weather. Scary feeling bad and not knowing what is going on. Glad you are starting to feel better. I was wondering where you were.

Steve, you're story about camping in the "bush" reminds me of trhe first few times I went out camping with the Scouts when my boys were young. Only it was me that didn't sleep. Every time one of the boys rolled over or made the slightest sound, BOOM!, I was wide awake. Luckily I am now very deaf and don't even hear that guy that they always talk about every morning when I go out camping. They are always alluding to somebody who was running a chainsaw all night cutting wood right in the middle of camp. Sometimes they want to know if heard that bear that was growing so durned loud....... I can't figure it out. I didn't hear anything........:rolleyes: :D

My wife tells me I am deaf in one ear and cannot hear out of the other. LOL LOL LOL I call it selective listening

Being a bit deaf has it's benefits, the wifes voice is slap bang in my deaf zone, what was that dear i didn't hear you, to which i get told IT'S selective deafness

Lookin' GOOD, Josh. And air conditioning, too? Whew. I could sure use some of that here today. :eek: The second shot isn't a bad image for a phone shot, by the way.

So, where's the layout going to be?

There's A/C in both bedrooms. The camera just reacted badly with the light coming in the window. The Diorama's are going to be to the right in the 1st pic.

Good morning ! from Indiana.:D

Hi, yall!

Well got in last night late from Dallas, TX. All I can say is I'm gonna enjoy this job I got! :D:DI'm gonna be doing basically the same thing I did at UAB Hospital minus the nursing aspect, for ten years. That part I really enjoyed!:D

Had a scare coming in last night. We were less than a minute from touchdown and the pilot suddenly gunned the engines and made a hard left climbing turn. :eek:

Seems a small plane decided to take off without the towers permission :mad:and to avoid a collision the pilot got us out of the way. Scared some of the passengers, including me!;)

Get to go back out there Aug 6-10, and got some studying to do but its gonna be a breeze!:)

Nice going, Josh. Hey, the phone photos are pretty darn good!

Steve: My left ear has less that 30% hearing for voice. My wife always sits on that side when I'm watching TV. Heheheheh!

CJ: Glad you made it back and that your trip was a success. Now you're ready for "Have Suitcase, Will Travel" series.

Went to a specialist exhaust center today for a new stainless system for the car, £325:eek: :eek: :eek: for a complete system, i don't have much choice as nobody makes or sell's them anymore for my model of car, there are only around 20 left in the UK so spares are scarce, it's an 1985 Audi Quattro.

just getting some nice kit's ready for after my surgery, i got a 3ft Kibri girder viaduct, a Heljan satellite receiving station which will have a motorised dish on top, very nice it is too, and finnaly a two aspect signal kit.

Steve;

Its not that I mind flying, Steve, its just that it seems everytime I've ever flown, something has happened.

On my very first flight, we took off in severe weather and as soon as we got off the ground, a tornado hit where we had just flown through. And of course, since it was my first flight, the pilot's little welcoming speech didn't help when he said "sit back, relax, and hopefully we'll get off the ground!".:eek:

On the next ten flights they lost my luggage, (all were nonstop!) including once when United sent it to Birmingham, England instead of Birmingham, Alabama. :confused:

The last flight prior to this trip was a job interview in Washington, DC. After the interview, I had to fly to Newark, NJ then home. They didn't loose the luggage but they lost the airplane I was to get on!:eek::rolleyes:

Actually the airline said Air Traffic Controllers wouldn't let it out of Syracuse, NY for 5 hours.:D But I say the lost it and didn't want us to know!:p

Flyin' and me don't git alon'.

I got yur drift-Stay downwind son and everythings fine!

Carey sound like he meant to say "sit back relax and kiss your ass goodbye"
next time they send your luggage here i'll post it back on to you

I have never flown in a comercial jet before but i went on a half hour training flight with my dad a couple of years ago, that was OK till we were skimming the Irish sea at around 10ft altitude, it's funny flying along at 150 mph looking up at horses on the beach,,,WHOOOOOOEEEEEE

Even though I make my living working on the different components for those big jets...............I think I'll stay on the ground. ;)

Stan.

Stan;

Tell ya the truth, so would I, but the new bosses would rather pay for an airline ticket, instead of some other form of transport.

Flying is not to bad I guess but my arms sure do get tired after about 30 seconds of air time.
