Even the smallest amount of progress is significantly better than no progress at all.I’m progressing at a glacial pace but still at it![]()
Progress is not measured at any particular speed, any progress regardless of length is progress. Thanks guys. I’m progressing at a glacial pace but still at it![]()
Progress is not measured at any particular speed
I'm total proof of that!Progress is not measured at any particular speed, any progress regardless of length is progress.
Progress: goodI made a tiny little bit of good progress this week. LHS closed here a few weeks back so it definitely slows everything a little.
I like the idea of the open types. Thanks. I'm going to check the internet for them nowFertilizers come in many forms, Pellets are in sacks, 1-ton bags, cylindrical barrels or 1gallon liquid containers, to name a few so that any covered truck could transport that, bulk liquid fertilizer is in closed tankers of various sizes, you could also have open Tipper trucks for some types.
Open tops would be smaller 2 axled trucks for local deliveries, 3 axles would have a tarpaulin over a metal sided truck for distance deliveries.I like the idea of the open types. Thanks. I'm going to check the internet for them now
Actually only the 6 story hotel is from that series. The other hotel is a walthers kit and the Italian restaurant is a "Built and Ready" structure from Woodland Scenics (not sure where exactly that's going to end up)Looks like the Bachmann City Scape series?
Great buildings and fun to kitbash!
Thanks, Mike.Looks great!
Really love how the wall turned out!
I myself haul fertilizer, we have curtain side trailers. Most of the time though guys with flatbeds come to pick up fertilizer. It generally comes in plastic bags which are stacked on pallets. A forklift loads the pallets from the side, about 18 to 20 pallets, depending on the size and weight of the bags. So an eighteen wheeler with flatbed trailer will do. But that little industry you have shown looks more like grain loading facility, since a fertilizer plant would generally have a warehouse attached to it where they bag the fertilizer.Well, here's an update...doing a minor bathroom remodel this weekend and next (at least)Hopefully back to the layout soon.
I think I've decided on this for my final industry https://www.walthers.com/rail-to-ro...TDWoSpGVMENbavIwZrQkNNdKXKLIMU_BNHfZymeBQjzAU
I'm thinking of using it to handle fertilizer. Does anyone know what kind of trucks would look realistic hauling fertilizer? I don't have a clue. If you could attach a pic also that would be great! Thanks
Looks pretty good to me, nice work.Feels like progress is so slow lately but I continued to re-do the hills here. Just a few washes w/ acrylic paints.
Still some plaster showing through so various ground cover is the next step. I hope it looks ok because I'm not doing this a third time
