Since I decided not to run a stack train on the layout I've started to reconfigure a little track work (just when I thought I was done
). I ripped up the long spur which served no other purpose other than to store the stack train. I didn't have enough room to model a sufficient intermodal yard but I do have enough room for this https://pjstrainshack.com/product/ho-scale-walthers-heritage-double-background-building/
I was tempted to buy it but I think I'll buy two of the kits and figure it out for myself (the best I can). I don't want to build two whole kits and just glue them together...that won't look right. I know some Walthers kits come with scribed lines to cut along for modifying and kit bashing. I'm hoping they expected some of us would want to double up (triple up, etc...) this kit.
Anyone with any experience or ideas about this would be appreciated. I don't think I'm great at kit building and have never even attempted a kit bash at all
