Wow, great photos! I saved a bunch, I see the S-4 on ebay from time to time, it is very similar to the S-10 that ran in our area.I tried to get some details on how the piping was ran from compressor into side tanks. One thing i noticed with the piping, was that the pipes which run to the engineer side of the tank are smaller diameter...i'm not even going to touch that one.
Next machine was in Missoula and i did post pictures of it from last year's trip. This one was much harder to photograph:View attachment 233991View attachment 233992
Seemingly same class as the Pasco engine, but having retained older look.
