OMG Jerome! That is an impressive collection of wrecked up locos. I actually never thought of that idea. Gives me something to think about for a project.

I am again impressed and amazed. Your are the master!

Quick question - what paint colour/#/brand are you using for the interiors? Is it some kind of institutional green? I have need of some and that stuff looks great.

On a side note, I have a lot of damaged units also (broken handrails, bent rails, missing beacons, antennas, broken plows, steps and footboards, crushed sunshades and winter cabs &c) but they are this way from being stored and moved for the last 16 years. :p

Astounding work once again Jerome!

Question, ive heard of using heat to melt dents in gondolas and freight cars, but im assuming this is some type of metal sheet that bent and crumpled? Perhaps brass or aluminum?

It was just some green and white I mixed up, nothing special.

Copper flashing I got from a hardware store is used for the cabs and bodies. Aluminum tape is what I use for the fuel tanks.

That F unit of Bob's was always one of my faves. I remember when that first came out in the magazines and it was such an inpiration to me, I did a poor attempt at a stripped down S2 which I still have. Maybe it's time to dig it out too and find a nice rip track location for it.

Nice work Jerome! That crispy BNSF Dash 9 is my favorite of the bunch.

Stephen, then your gonna love the updated one. I just got 2 C44-9W's in the correct heritage II paint scheme. I plan on redoing it right this time. ;)

What a pleasant surprise! Nice work. Never seen anything done like that before. Thanks for sharing.

Jerome, I really like what you've done. I was looking at your work on your site and I wnated to ask you how do you layer the weathering for the burned out areas. I love the metal and rust you built up on the areas the loco is wrecked.

Bob and others that have posted have some really nice looking ones as well. Thanks for posting.

Dave
