I've tried at least 5 times to renew this topic & upload some photo's.
The photo part doesn't work, or doesn't work for me. I brought up the photo's
from my documents & it tried for over 30 minutes, but never put up the photo's, So, guess I'll give up until I can find out why I can't get any pictures on this topic.
Trying again after I downsized each photo.

Larry,
What did you make your river out of? Great photos and great scenery.
Keep up the good work,
Chris Moore

The streams are Matte Medium in layers w/colors mixed in. I've still got to do some more work on all of those. The water running down the side of the rocks are clear silicone sealer w/a touch of paint added.

Are those ceiling tile rock cliffs?

Yes, ceiling tile it is. Took me 30 years to figure out the best base for rock cliffs. I've tried just about everything ever made to do mountins & hills
& I was reading a 1978 issue of Model Railroading & there was the solution.
So, I completely ripped out all the new stuff I had installed the 6 months earlier & started experimenting w/ceiling tiles. I did a lot of stuff that wasn't
in the article.
I have Model Railroader mags from 1949 to now.

Seems like a great idea Larry, I believe I'll try a test river to see how it turns out. If it looks close to what I want then I'll use your tip. Thanks
Cheers Willis
