What's happening on my layout? Something happened and I have a direct short that is throwing my power panel's circuit breaker. It hasn't run correctly since I tore out a lot of track and added some. DCC layout (and I don't have a clue what I'm doing). I have 6 Tony's Circuit Breakers; but my power panel circuit breaker blows first. I don't have any trains on the track so I don't have a clue. I disconected 3 circuit breakers on the right side of my layout and it didn't trip the panel circuit breaker. I've got a funny feeling the problem is under Joanstown (14-feet of hidden track with a faulty turnout that I made into a single switch going to the right)...I hope it isn't that. I've been painting a neglected slider on our porch and it is killing me outside in the sun and humidity. I really not in the mood to trouble shoot it now; but I think I have it narrowed down to the switch

I've been there. It's frustrating but I've always solved the problem eventually (when I'm motivated to do what needs to what needs to be done). I'm sure you'll solve it!

I know I will solve it; but the frustrations of painting in the hot sun got to me and I had to vent...more painting tomorrow and Sunday. I should be back to a normal attitude Monday...strike that; I have to go get another shot for trigger finger. This will be the fourth shot in the same finger...it sure does suck getting old

Trigger Finger shot. Yeah, had that a few times. Shot goes right in the palm of the hand in the tendon.
Take it like a man.
Went to the Doc. for my trigger finger shot (which I hate). I asked him what happens when the shot doesn't work any more and he told me he could perform a 10-minute operation and I would never have trigger finger in the finger again. No shot today, setting up surgery appointment instead. Happy Day for me.

I took my index finger off most of the way in less than 10 minutes.

I have a fair amount of layout related projects that I've been bouncing between. Last week, I completed a mine building for the Cripple Creek area of the layout, and a few days later I started putting together a shop building kit to fill the space where the exposed cardboard is by the turntable, yesterday, I painted the wall that my back was facing when I took this photo with the intent of painting another mural for more photo opportunities. I also painted the facia around much of the layout, and today, I stenciled on town and landmark names along the facia. So, I've been fairly busy with it.
