Hi
Any idea what this is, all I have it's Lima #312, its from 1973 / 74 maybe
Just looking for some info, try google but no luck
Cheers
certainly European due to the bumpers on each end.
This is a typical European "Steeple Cab" loco .
Many were made by different model manufacturers and this looks like one known as an "Eidelweiss" and is is the colours of a rack and pinion ( Cog wheel) railway in the Alps. It is in real size electrically powered so should have a pantograph on the cab roof.
I have a Fleishmann example which is exactly the same in detail.
Here is alink to the Fleishmann version so you can compare.
Buy the Consignment FL1302z Fleischmann 1302z 0-4-0 Steeple Cab Locomotive from Reynauld's Euro Imports. Call us at 1-888-762-6872

Hope this helps. Colin.
Thanks for that, mystery solved, it never had a pantograph from what I recall, but at at least I know what to look out for.
Here's your loco. Just scroll down to the "Private Railway Locomotives " section.
Colin.
