Has anybody used Dr Ben's Weathering Pigments?? Would appreciate your comments regarding ease of use, how they compare to other weathering products etc
thanks
Chris
I used this a few years ago and it seem to work well for me
All I know is that the price of the Dr. Ben's stuff is very high priced compared to anything else I have seen on the market. Everything I have used has worked well for me, from artists pastels to factory weathering powders to $1 store acrlics. If you use them properly they all seem to work well and you don't have to spend a fortune.
I still have great success using my 46 color artist pastel's chalk set I got at Michaels on sale for $5.

There's no magic bullet to weathering, just practice using a number of different mediums. I have used Dr. Ben's products and, while they work fine, I see no advantage over what I can do with my cheap chalks and some dullcote.
