I completed painting my chipboard retaining walls yesterday with acrylic paints and I would like to weather them, giving them a more faded look. Does anybody have any recommended methods for doing this? I may or may not paint them a different color as I feel the color I chose is too dark but for now this is what they look like:
Edit: I have decided it’s too dark and will therefore repaint it. Still could use some recommendations
Not an expert on buildings, but using a wash might get the fade you want. On railcars I use dull coat which fade with light coats. A heavier fade would be dust. Some will use white thinned out or watered down.
