So I talked the wife into letting me buy a decent tank car today. Its a 23,500gallon ACFX tanker by Atlas. It is very nice with great details...(alittle expensive though...) Anyways, I have seen some very nice weathered boxcars, hoppers, and just about everything else, but I wanted to know if anyone has any good examples of weathered tank cars. Anytype, any era...just looking for some good examples. In other words, if anyone has any dirtied up tank cars, let me see! Thanks!

Theres a lot of good ideas in your photos Josh, some would help me in my next project.
Here I got a couple of pics that I made last weekend. Its an example of how dust affect tankers (more than water).

Hope this photos can help you.

hey guys, thanks! There are some real good examples in there...but do you guys know of any weathered tanker models. Preferably ho scale, but anything will do! Weathered models of boxcars, gondolas, hoppers and everything else are real common, but any beat up tank car models would be great! Thanks guys...those pics still helped alot though!
