Hi,
My SW8 either will not stop or is taking a very long time to decelerate.
Decoder - stock QSI model ho187, firmware version 06, build date 11/05/2009.

CVs 3, 4, 23 and 24 all set to (and read back) 0.

I admit, I don't know what's going on. Any tips would be appreciated.

Attachment contains CVs as read back using JMRI. View attachment CN7158_CVs.pdf

Other details:
JMRI Version 3.6-r24520
JMRI Identifies decoder as QSI diesel Version 7, model P2k SW9/1200
LocoBuffer-USB
Digitrax DCS100 (Chief)

Thanks in advance for any and all pointers to help me resolve this.

Solved: Walthers/P2K SW8/900 won't stop!

Thanks for the responses. I did not have the loco on another throttle, but good idea.
I had to reset the decoder using the magnet. Seems to me I've had to do that on another loco with a factory-installed QSI decoder, too. (Intermountain FP9A)

It 'seemed' as if no other locos would respond while the SW8 was on the rails, but I didn't debug this extensively.

Thanks again for the help. I reset it, changed the address and disabled DC control and left it at that for now.
