Thanks Willie. I like that little kit. Simple and easy. Our family had a barn just like it in West Virginia.
I have been giving sewer service to the town, sawmill and logging camp. nothing like crappers all over the place.
We have crappers all over the place. Shots below

Haven't done a lot of anything this week. I did make a cattle ramp for the barnyard. Getting a idea of how i want the fence to make for the field. Like i said, Not much happening. More later. Laters
Happy Labor day. I decided to run some trains. I am having some cleaning issues with the engines. It runs super but its twin brother wouldn't do hardly anything. This one is 0552. Soon to be C&O. Thought it would be cool to run some for awhile. Just not doing much but for Fencing. I have about half of it done. Mike Fifer shows his train running in his How-tos, so i thought i would show a train while showing the Fencing work. Enjoy! I know i do. Smoke
Lookin' good!
And smooth running train by the looks of it.
Thanks. Its always fun to just run trains. I cleaned the track and engines, but ran out of chemicals, so i am trying a new one when it gets here. Hard to say this but the RS-2's are my best runners.
I am building a 2 story outhouse for the hotel
does the waste drop down onto the first floor ?
When i was at Virginia City the second floor dropped on one side like a chute. The other dropped into a different hole. they were separate from each other. Myself speaking, that would scare the sh*t out of me.

It might make a big splash.....lol, or rotting wood with holes....lol, I would definitely prefer the second floor...lol
I finally got the fencing all done. Other than running trains this is what i have got done. Another thing i need to do is find the cheminys and put them back in the houses and buildings. There around here someplace in one of my Bags of trees. Half my time is the jigsaw of parts that i took off and placed in bags to keep from loosing them. I have found most of the stuff i could find but those chimneys, and are still mia. I just might have to buy more stock to replace them. Shots of the fencing down and in place. Can only do a few piece at a time as they won't stand on there own.To do it, I started at the cattle ramp and worked outwards to the final piece at the Barn. Shots below

Its been awhile so here is whats happening on the layout. I saw this awhile back and it stood there in my brain. I wanted to model it back when but just didn't have the place for it. I bought the old engine house and made it but then found the diesels engines and even the snow plow wouldn't fit in it. I was looking at my photos of Spruce and Old Spruce and Cass. I saw it and it looks like its taller. I can do that! I double checked it and the 44 toner and Russell Snow Plow both fit! They are the tallest on the railroad. Some shots below. Its still a work so not completed yet. Laters
