He's re-designing the (non-existant) staircase so it has a landing halfway down, I've no room at the moment for this but I'm into the tentative stages of planning my next layout for 2025/6 and this will be incorporated into it.

I tried using Railmatch varnish, I either thinned it too much or too little I'm not sure, it was only a small bottle so it's now in the bin and I went back to my usual VMS matt varnish which doesn't need thinnning.

Wow! That’s a long to be waiting for something to ship!On the good news side, the decals I ordered from Canada are finally on their way,but heard nothing from Gold Rush Bay about the interiors for my passenger cars which I ordered in January.
What do you suppose is the hold up?

Well, it's arrived, I met up with the gentleman from Spain who has made the overhead signal box this morning, lovely fella, and gave me this. I am now, officially terrified. lot and lots of really small pieces for my clumsy fingers to break.
