I'm in no rush, still waiting for the interiors from Gold Rush Bay to be shipped.Or, you can hang tight and I’ll see what I can dig up for you?
(I'll try to keep the postage under $100

Don't worry I will. You are moving right along on these!
Can't wait for a video of them on the layout. No rush of course!
Sorry, @Smudge617. That was supposed to be a "WOW" emoji. I'm not laughing at you I think you do really great work!
Thank you both, I enjoyed doing this.Fabulous job Chris!
I'm in the same boat. I purchased all the paint, powders, brushes...ect.. to start learning to weather, and have somehow seemed to stall on every front (including layout building). That locomotive turned out great! I haven’t mastered the skills of painting rolling stock and locomotives yet but hopefully sometime in the future.
Just get some old cheap knackered wagons and just try, you'd be surprised at what you can do with a bit of practice. That locomotive turned out great! I haven’t mastered the skills of painting rolling stock and locomotives yet but hopefully sometime in the future.
Just do it Mike, if I can, you most definitely can do this, I mean, the paint won't mysteriously appear on your wagons on it's own now will it.I'm in the same boat. Hoping to get back to it in the near (distant) future.
Maybe going back through the weathering rolling stock thread will help. Its what got me interested in getting the supplies in the first place!
I'm hoping so, I bought some magic beans from a guy out in front of a liquor store recently!the paint won't mysteriously appear on your wagons on it's own now will it.
Maybe I’ll scan eBay and see what I can find!Just get some old cheap knackered wagons and just try, you'd be surprised at what you can do with a bit of practice.
You don't need steady hands for doing this, that's what masking tape is forGreat job on that GP9! I don't have steady hands for fine detail work like that.
My brother asked me just a few days ago, if I plan to do any weathering on my layout. I told him that weathering and that kind of work will be the absolute last thing I attempt. I'm having too much fun actually building my layout to worry about anything else at this time.
