Super detailing Conrail SD40-2

I want to detail a sd40-2 with all the details -- my problem is i would like to have a schematic of a conrail sd40 for io know where to put the details. So far i have a older bb athern repowered with a new arthern motor/board from a genisis a digitrack dh163 decoder. Also what could i use for the marker lights I would like to have every light that is on the actual locomotive on my model

Best way to deck that diesel out would be to find a prototype picture. There are several websites that cater to prototype pictures of specific locos. The trick is to find a balance with what is on the loco, and with what you want to spend. You could easily put more money into the details than the loco will be worth.

And remember, brass wire is your friend. Many details are formed out of different sizes.
