Myself and some of the members of the Pawling, NY Model Railroad Club went to the Big E Train Show today in Springfield, MA. It's always a great show 3 building full of model railroad product and layouts. I went looking for NYC GP 35's or 40's. I bought 2 Atlas GP 40's with decoders and new white led headlights for $94.00 with tax. That's $47.00 dollars each. The dealer was Tucker's Hobbies, Warren Mass. - (www.tuckershobbies.com) The web site does not list all the products they had at the show. They had like 500 engine for sale. I was very temped to buy 6 but I have a budget. I also bought a Wabbit just to see if I needed them or not. After reading the manual I found that if your going to go wirerless with your switch machines it's the way to go. I already have my remote switches wired in to a few panels so the Wabbit really doesn't help much. I should have added another $20.00 dollars and bought a third engine. The show ends Sunday 1/28/07.
