Thank you Steve,They are talking rain all this week so I'll be building and painting, the outdoor work will get done when it's nice out! LOL what a line of bull to play instead of work !!! I did see one small problem, while setting up the crane and idler car I built the shed a wee bit to big so I had to raise the boom abit more then I wanted but I found that it did track better.

SO the BN/GN crane is almost done going off the decal shop and then the glass shop,Came out better then the last crane.I'm happy with the bucket :)

Found some neat loads for my 'What if" flatcars, the only thing holding the load to the deck is the four wire "cables" you see.

As I was walking back to my truck this F40PH came highballing around the bend ,I was only able to get one shot but I found out when it's comming again so I'll be ready for it.(meaning I'll be taking some more pictures to post soon)
ViaRail did this paint job back in 1990 I think but they used a F40PH-2 I didn't have one so I used a F40PH thus that is why it's in this thread, gotta keep the "Rivet-Counters" at bay!!!!!

I like this thread!

I have many non-prototypical pieces, from my AHM ALCO Century 424 Seaboard Coast Line "Spirit of 76" to Lionel, Life-Like and Tyco billboard hoppers and boxcars. Too many to take pictures of, but I will show you my favorite! Lionel GE AC6000 "7812" CSX/B&O Heritage Locomotive

Here is one that fits this non-prototype category in BOTH locomotive & rolling stock categories. I call it my BatoBoose, its a Bachman Caboose with a Kato drive chassis. I have converted a number Bachman brill trollies to Kato drive with DC & DCC. I was thinking of powering a box car (think run-away car), but this caboose was a perfect fit in size and truck base. I did not convert it to DCC, yet, I am considering it. I cut the Bman ends off so they still snap on the shell for the platforms, ladders and couplers. I also cut the ends & couplers off the Kato chassis. It was such a perfect fit it was almost too easy. So here is my locoboose pulling a box car..... Sorry no pix right now. No insert photo icon????? strange???. It looks just like any normal AT&SF red caboose with yellow upper roof. I may convert it to DCC...imagine the shock when a visitor sees this caboose on the move, looks like a run-away with no obvious motive power!!!!!!!!!!! Can you say FUN? JD
