hi
ok i have a Athearn sd40-2 bcrail i think it new engine they just put out. anyway i saw that shell is low to tracks and couplers don't line with the train. is there way to raise shell of the engine? reason the couplers go through the shell.

Try the high off set Kadee couplers. Phil

Actually, the engine is probably at the correct height and the cars are too high. It's easier to change the height of the couplers on the car than it is on an engine.

If all else fails, the offset couplers will work. If your cars are the Athearn 50' FMC box cars, flip the coupler pockets upside down and the couplers will be at the correct height.
