Question about Atlas Silver Master Series in HO

Hey Guys,

Does anybody know if Atlas Silver Master Series engines in HO that are DCC ready have the speaker enclosure area already prepped for installation? IE is it like the Gold Series minus the sound and the sound components? Or is it just the solid weighted chassis and you are left to your own creative way to find room for a speaker?

Brad my 6 Silver Series B40-8's have a round cut out space in the weight. You might want to write or call Atlas on the Dash 8 CW's to be sure.

Brad, opps, forgot the other part of your question. Yes it's DCC ready. You can see the dummy plug on top.
 
All newer Atlas releases have the sound chassis. All of the dash 8 series have the sound chassis. The older non-sound chasis have been demoted to Trainman.
 
Hey couple more question guys,

Will these hold two speakers or just one? I see the two diaphrams but just wondering if theres room to wire up two or is it meant for just one? Do they face outward or inward?
