Proto Snow Plow

I had preorderd a Proto Russell plow from my LHS. Walthers expected arrival date was the end of June. I stopped in yesterday and they had arrived, almost a week ahead. I bought the undecorated version and checked it out after I got home. Very nicely done with bags of separate detail parts. One thing I noticed is the front truck doesn't have much of a swing radius before hitting the side panels of the wedge blade. I didn't try it on some 18" snap track S curves I use on my bench to check truck swing so it may be ok. If not It looks like filing down the journal boxes would allow enough swing without being noticed since the wedge side panels extend below the journals. Overall I'd say the model is a winner.
