Hello all. I have a P2K diesel BL2 that I would like to install a DCC decoder in. Has anyone out there done one? What decoder? Got info on the installation? Thanks. perley

That one's going to be a hard-wire install. It's been a decade or so since I opened one up, but I seem to remember it had a single light bulb, and was non-directional. If that's the case, you may be able to use one of the Digitrax Athearn decoders, it has all the little clips already soldered in place, you just replace the old ones with the new assembly. It's a DH163AT

The easy way out almost never works Theres always a little obstacle along the way.

Also I think you'll find that while the motor looks like an Athearn can, it's longer than the DHAT clips... so you'd have to hardwire anyway.
