Well I am slowly getting my old layout up and running. Couple of questions. I am using a MRC Tech 6 pak. I have a Blueline & a Paragon loco. 1st question, can I "MU" them with the Tech 6 pak? 2nd question my Paragon loco seems a bit "herky jerky" when running backwards or long hood forward. I only have run it once or twice as I just bought it. It runs fine forward. Any thoughts if it will smooth out running "backwards"? Thanx!

Is the Tech 6 a DC power pack?
As far as I know you can't run a sound equipped loco with a non sound loco in DC. If they both have sound it should be okay... I'll let someone here that knows decide that.
Hard to say about the reverse thing without seeing it but I'd say break it in and see if it improves.
If it's DCC then you may have to adjust the speed curve to match the other loco. From what I've been told this can take some time testing and running till you get it right.

The Tech6 is a DC pak that will allow sound equipped DCC engines to run and function.
to activate the sound functions of your bli loco's on dc track you will need a dcmaster that they sell
The two units will run fine together on DC. They were made to do so.
The reason why it runs jerky in reverse is because it hasn't been broken in yet.
