Hey guys,

I really appreciate everyone's insight to my newbie questions here about pouring my Envirotex.

My question was this - how long should I wait between pouring layers? I will probably need 3 layers to cover my area and different depths I made (now I know to make it all equal levels and shallow).

Do I need to wait the full 72ish hours each time to pour? That would take me like all month to finish it. I was just wondering if I can pour a new layer maybe every 24 hours?

Thanks!
Kyle

You should be able to pour a new layer every 24 hours, maybe less, depending on humidity. Stick the tip of a toothepick in the envirotex. If it doesn't make a dent, you're good to go. If it does, give it a few more hours and try again.

Cool, thanks Jim. I have my first layer on there, looks good! I will pour another one tonight - though, add a couple more drops of dye.

Glad it is working out for you Kyle and yes, 24 hours should be plenty of time. I know that mine came out great without any problems.
