Here is a specialty load I did up to officially retire an old loco that my wife picked up for me at a yard sale. Her heart was in the right place anyway, hehe.

Love those ol' "hammerheads". I have a few that I use for locals and switching. Oddly, I can remember seeing a few of those riding the rails near my house as a kid.

I hope that you do find a use for it on your layout other than a "specialty load".

It's an old AHM POS, there will never be a place on the layout for it in any capacity other than what it is currently in, hehe. I have another identical to it, (she got 2 for $1), I may have to gut it out like Bob did. I really like the look of the scappers tearing it down.

Good use for that old AHM RS-1 since they never ran well even when new and the handrails were, let's just say, grossly oversized. Nice scrapping picture, Bob.

Another idea you could also do is to have it as part of an old historical display like at a small railroad museum,a passenger station, or corporate offices for your railroad.
