New York Central Website is LIVE!!!

ModelRailroadForums.com is a free Model Railroad Discussion Forum and photo gallery. We cover all scales and sizes of model railroads. Online since 2002, it's one of the oldest and largest model railroad forums on the web. Whether you're a master model railroader or just getting started, you'll find something of interest here.

Very nice web site. Along with that Rock Island web site, you guys are going to be confusing non-railoraders everywhere with your system maps when they Google for the real railroad. :)

The only suggestion I have is to increase the size of the thumbnails and add captions. Since you're trying to simulate a real railroad's web site, you'll need captions that explain the location and what's happening in each picture. Other than that, it's a great job.

Could I jump onboard with my MKT proto-lancing Idea? I'd love to have a website that would completely intertwine something so fun as the Rock Island-NYCS concept, also, a North-south Railroad is needed and the MKT fits that bill, connecting you guys in the middle!

Could you PM me Mtpls?

Very nice site, Matt! I especially enjoyed the FAQ, History, and About NYCS. And very nice disclaimer by the way. Your website is definitely more comprehensive and I like how you can navigate with the drop-down menus.

Miles, that would be awesome for you to have a modern MKT website. However, I already have two major north-south corridors via KC and St. Louis, so you would probably be more of a competitor to me, like the KCS.

Oh Zephyr, what's wrong with a little healthy competition? It'll keep you on your toes, don't ya think?

Competition? Sure! But I probably wouldn't partner with them. Plus, my friend Gerry has the MKT in his fantasy modern CNW system, so I'm not sure how that will work...

Zephyr, now I understand the "Granger Road" disorder! ;) (Too many railroads not enough industry)

Is there anyway that the St. Louis new Orleans could be my new MKT? Would you willing to do that? That way a partnership would make a whole lot more sense.

Very cool guys! All this modern fallen flag modeling has inspired me, but I'll hold off on giving any hints for a few weeks!

That is a very fine site. Good Work!
The History and the Corporate Hdq. had me going for a minute, thinking that maybe the NYC is getting rebuilt ...finally I woke up. Duh!
