Hi folks, I'm new to the forum, have been an N scale modeler since it's beginning. Have two N scale layouts, a 4x8 my son and I built years ago before he left home, and a 15x15 room with a layout around the walls and two islands. My favorite is the logging short line on the bigger layout. Will be moving and retiring in a couple of months and will build a layout there in a shed 8ftX12ft. It will be a logging RR short line. I have cast my own flat cars in 40ft, 36ft, and 25 ft for logs and lumber. Have also cast my own log buggies for the line. It will be a steam powered line among hand built pine treesIt's really nice that N scale now has smaller frame steam locomotives that run so well, 2-8-0 bachman, 4-6-0's by bachman, 2-6-0's from model power and all run so nice. Life is good and getting better.
