Well the golf season is just about over here in NY so I decided to work out the bugs in my Georgetown crossing gates. They work fine now, here's the video.
I changed the way the gates were controlled. I thought the gates went up and down to fast in my steam video that I posted in the spring. I tried using only one tortoise to control both gates in my first attempt. I couldn’t adjust the speed properly with the one power source. The controller card settings were either to fast or to slow. Then I tired to using one tortoise for each gate. I could then slow the gates down but the timing was out of sink. I thought after the golf season I’d give it another try. So now there’re almost in perfect sink.
