My first scratch built structure: Purgatory Creek depot, built from card and strip wood in HO scale. Windows and doors are pictures printed out on card stock; outer window and door frames are strip wood. Shingles are cut out from construction paper and painted Polly Scale Grimy Black. Chimney is styrene with printed brick paper covering.

Nice job!. One of the beauties of scratch building is you can create a structure to fit a given space. Also you don't have the same building from a kit that 5000 other layouts have. And of course the satisfaction that you created it yourself.

That is one neat little depot. You did a real nice job of it. It looks great so I hope you'll be doing more scratch building of structures and keep us updated with photo's of your work.
Cheers
Willis

I will be very pleased if my first scratch-built structure looks that nice. Well done!
