My first layout!! I may need help along the way/your thoughts)

I made a little progress on building my new layout today. The photos below are of my old layout with it all scattered with stuff, then all of the stuff organized (rolling stock, track, structures, locomotives, and some misc. stuff), then the old layout starting to get taken down in order to build the new layout.

The progress isn't much but hey its progress! Haha, so tell me what you guys think! I would love to hear any thoughts/suggestions as I build my first layout!

I will probably post more pictures tomorrow when I get some more progress done.

Haven't really been much progress the last few days because of homework but I'm gonna work on it a lot this weekend! The old layout is almost taken down, I will probaly start the new benchwork this weekend or early next week. I will post more pictures later tonight!

I made a little more progress today, I have taken down all of the old benchwork and will start on the new benchwork tomorrow or Sunday.

This is the bare bones of the benchwork you could say haha

And this is the benchwork all taken down and sitting in the corner waiting for some of it to get reused.

No its going to be a walk around type layout that will modeled after the Union Pacific (1940's-1950's) somewhere in Colorado.
