My first attempt at locomotive detailing!

So I have broken new ground today. Its not a huge step but its a step in the right direction

I'm using a blue box gp35 as my test bed for this project. I have three other blue box locomotives that need their hand rails done along with some detail parts. Used Illinois Central Orange from model flex. It blends and matches well with the orange on the loco.

color looks like a good match to me . You would not think that something as simple as painting a handrail would make as much difference as it does.

Oh it makes a huge difference. I was afraid of the color at first. I had thought it wouldn't match.
